One describes a lounge already listed as permanently closed; the other gives advance notice of a December shutdown.\n\nThe network's [October 29 update](https://www.prioritypass.com/en-GB/lounge-updates) says Asia Europe Aviation Lounge in Terminal 2 at Xuzhou Guanyin Airport has closed permanently. A separate October 28 entry says Sky Lounge Xpress at Subang's Skypark Terminal will close permanently on December 13, 2026.\n\n## A future closure is not a closure today\n\nAs of October 30, the Subang date is still ahead. The notice should not be rewritten to say that the lounge is already shut. Travelers departing before December 13 should check its current listing and their access terms.\n\nFor a trip on or after the stated shutdown date, plan around the closure unless a later official update changes it. Do not assume that a lounge visible in an old review or a saved card-benefit list will remain available.\n\nThe Xuzhou notice is different: [Priority Pass](https://lounge-frog-api.onrender.com/api/v1/go/77243838-574a-4032-9c19-8ef6a86c5798?site=lounge) describes that lounge as permanently closed already. A traveler should not build a preflight plan around using it.\n\n## The airport and terminal must match\n\nLounge names can be similar across cities, and an airport can have more than one passenger building. Use the full airport and terminal rather than relying on a name remembered from an earlier trip.\n\nAt Subang, the notice names the Skypark Terminal. It should not be applied to a lounge at another Malaysian airport. Likewise, the Xuzhou update is not a statement that all lounges in the city or all Terminal 2 facilities have closed.\n\nCheck your departure airport code on the ticket before looking for an alternative. A well-reviewed room at a different airport does not solve the problem on your itinerary.\n\n## Do not assume a replacement benefit\n\nA closure notice does not, by itself, establish a right to a restaurant credit, refund or entry to a different lounge. Those questions depend on the membership or card and the available facilities.\n\nIf a lounge benefit was central to your travel plan, ask your provider what options currently apply. Describe the exact airport, terminal and date. Keep any written answer with the rest of your trip information.\n\nFor paid reservations, contact the seller about the booking you hold. A network update is useful evidence of a change, but the handling of a particular purchase requires its own answer.\n\n## Make a practical alternative plan\n\nIdentify a place to eat, charge devices or wait that you can actually reach. If you need a quiet work call, consider whether the terminal can support it rather than assume another lounge will be close by.\n\nA replacement does not need to reproduce every service. Prioritize what matters for that journey: a meal, a seat, a workspace or simply enough time near the gate.\n\nTravelers using [Subang airport](https://www.loungefrog.com/airports/szb) should check again close to departure. The distinction in these notices is straightforward but important: Xuzhou is listed as closed; Subang has a scheduled December 13 closure.\n\nWe checked the network's update page on October 30. It provides the dates and named locations, but does not explain the business reasons for either change. We are not attributing a cause that the notices do not give.\n\n*Photo credit: [Sergey](https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Subang_airport.jpg), [CC BY-SA 2.0](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0/).
