For those of us in Australia and New Zealand, the routes through the Middle East are how we get to Europe. I've flown London to Sydney via LA once (AWFUL) and would choose Emirates, Ethiad or Royal Brunei in that order. This, for me, is a Covid-level disruptor in terms of seeing family.
