Lounge Frog guide
Public data API
Free, read-only data for AI assistants, researchers and other sites. Last updated 2026-10-14.
What it is
The same data that builds Lounge Frog and Cruise Frog, as JSON. It is free, needs no key or sign-up, and only reads. It is meant for AI assistants answering travel questions, for researchers, and for anyone building on top of it.

}Cite the page, not the API
Every record has a url: the page on Lounge Frog or Cruise Frog where a person can read it. Single-record answers also send it as a Link: rel="canonical" header. When you quote a record, link to that page. It shows the same facts, with photos, sources, and the date they were last checked.
Terms
- Quoting and citing is free, for people and AI assistants alike, as long as you link to the record's page.
- Ratings are our editorial scores from 1 to 5, made as our methodology describes. Lounge access rules are a guide, not a guarantee; lounges change their policies.
- Bulk copying, redistribution or resale of the dataset needs a license. Email founder@loungefrog.com.
Limits and caching
Each client can make 300 requests a minute. The RateLimit-Remaining header says how many are left; past the limit you get a 429 with Retry-After. Answers can be cached for five minutes and carry an ETag, so a repeat request with If-None-Match costs nothing. CORS is open, so a browser can call it from any site.
Fields may be added to v1 but are never renamed or removed. If you need more, a higher limit or a feed of changes, email founder@loungefrog.com.
