The North Wing Sakura Lounge reopened on 8 October 2026 after a nine-month rebuild and now opens at 05:15 until the last departure; the South Wing Sakura Lounge closed the same day for its own renovation and is due back around June 2027. The renewed North Wing room is split into dining, relaxation, work and kids' zones: curved sofas and a refreshed drinks counter that pours a savory dashi broth, a lounge area with ambient lighting and massage seats, a work zone by the escalators with AC and USB outlets at every seat, and a children's play area designed with Bornelund that parents can watch from family seating. Fifteen works by HERALBONY-affiliated artists hang in the room. Shower suites, shared with the neighboring JAL First Class Lounge, are booked from your phone with a QR code that unlocks the door, and there are private nursing rooms.
