Flying business on JAL I have access to the Star Alliance lounge and Emirates at LAX. Both are great but Star Alliance Lounge has a buffet with unlimited bacon and wine whereas Emirates has full service. But sometimes I just want unlimited bacon and wine and not a chef prepared omelette.

Sitting in the Star Alliance Lounge at LAX, two glasses of wine under my belt, a nice lunch, and feeling no pain. Next stop Heathrow. Life is good for the moment.

LAX✈NRT Early boarding time? What, I don't get to enjoy the Star Alliance Lounge? (I ate instant ramen; not really a quality lounge.)
