Seat 5A on WestJet Boeing 787-9 (320 seats)

5A is a trade-off: a window seat in Premium.

5A

Mixed

Window seat, row 5, Premium

  • Pro: Bulkhead row, so nobody reclines into you
  • Con: No floor storage for takeoff and landing, and the tray table and screen fold out of the armrest
  • Note: Front row of Premium, facing a wall: no one reclines into you, but bags go overhead, and a bassinet position here may seat a baby beside you.
  • Note: WestJet lists one bassinet shared by 5A and 5C and one by 5H and 5K
