GarudaMiles status is earned on Tier Miles (Garuda and SkyTeam flights only) or eligible Garuda flights over a 12-month period; flight counts came back on 8 September 2025. You move up as soon as you qualify, and keeping a tier needs a bit less. Garuda is a SkyTeam member: Silver has no SkyTeam status, Gold is SkyTeam Elite, and only Platinum is SkyTeam Elite Plus with lounge access. Garuda calls the base tier Blue.
