Aegean airlines economy class is actually pretty good. I had more than enough leg space for the 3 hour trip from Copenhagen.

Aegean airlines has officially made it into my top 5 airlines to flight: Good service from the stuards, snacks on a short flight, good take of and landing, boarding where yhe priority is respected despite having to use buses on the tarmac. Recommended. Would flight again. ✈️

This was on top of the (by now) two and a half hours checking in at Athens Airport this September. Husband had to empty his whole ruck-sac. The tortillas were for me to eat on the flight as I'm gluten intolerant. It was a good call as the Aegean Airlines meals had gluten in them.

The Ancient Greeks smashed a pomegranate on New Year's Day as a symbol of life and good fortune. One NYE, getting the plane from Athens, Aegean Airlines (brilliant airline) gave us pomegranate as we boarded. They’re quite messy when you throw them at the front door.

This was 7 years ago, breakfast between Frankfurt and Athens on Aegean Airlines, the best European airline IMHO. Their breakfast has become weaker since, I miss the days where you were guaranteed an omelet.
