The difference in the experience between the two Manchester terminals is now WILD: the new terminal 2 is fantastic, and compares well to the best airports around the world; whereas terminal 3, which is Ryanair's, is awful, including because most people working there don't seem too happy about it

Anyone travelling through Manchester Airport Terminal 2, leave a xtra time for the lack of staff in security. Apparently the owners of the airports feel it’s not making enough money so it’s completely under staffed. Great start to the holiday. #Thailand #lufc

I was tempted to go for something weird like the breakfast burrito but decided against it. Ham and eggs for me

Manchester Airport Terminal 2 was great. Only took me a few min to get through - love the new scanners.

I had great experiences with security at both Manchester Terminal 2 and Frankfurt connecting flights. Both have the new CT scanners, both hand-checked my film with no hesitation or irritation. Let's hope it's the same on the way back!
