On my last trip to Helsinki, I took Finnair and it was really lovely. My last trip to Ireland was on BA (middle seat, very last row) and it was not lovely.

I always forget how long that flight to JFK from HEL is. Great experience on Finnair today. Top notch service and food. There was even a fresh fruit service! That seat, though. I’m not a fan. I just couldn’t ever get really comfy to watch movies. It seems great for sleeping, but not for lounging.

Love those E190 windows, where I get a great view even from an aisle seat. This Finnair flight was perfectly fine and comfy. Once again I arrive into HEL at a bus gate though. Plenty of time to connect, but that’s still so annoying since the airport promises 40 minute minimum connection times.

Highly recommend Finnair, especially in the A350. I did that last year to Seoul and it's very comfy. We flew the "normal" route outbound, then "over the top" back home. I always check ex EU fares; this was from Oslo so I flew Ryanair the day before & stayed near Oslo airport.

I’ve been to Helsinki twice in mid-winter and loved it. It’s a great city. And they’re a great airline, I fly on their A330 which operates as a Qantas flight to Singapore. And I’ve been fortunate enough to fly their business class on points, which is awesome.

I know what you mean! Might be worth looking at Finnair. We got a really good deal and I loved the product and service. Would use again without hesitation- bonus is we accrued a tonne of Avíos points.

I always had extremely good experiences while travelling with Finnair. Chatting with the crew, a quick visit in the cockpit before taking my seat, always fun. It is sad that all those union conflicts had such a negative impact. :-(

Righto, let’s finish this off: a hearty breakfast, a few cups of tea and a very quick arrival at KIX, and I’m on the train into Osaka in 40 minutes from wheels down. Great flight, Finnair — 4/5 korvapuustis, with improvement areas on bedding quality, IFE selection and midflight snacks.

✈️ A superb and comfortable flight with Finnair to Hong Kong. Aside from eating my own body weight, I got five hours sleep! Now relaxing in the Cathay lounge, before our final flight: Singapore. Just had a wonderful (and much needed) shower, and then tucked into a wagyu beef burger.

Yeah. Qatar has amazing food. Lat time we flew there was two meals with 3 different choices. Quite the difference to when we switched to Finnair for the last leg. One cardboard meal on a 9 hour flight plus a small crummy muffin.

I'm always so perplexed by how aggressively terrible certain services websites are. I just spent an hour trying to book a flight through Finnair, kept getting a "whoops, our bad, please start over" error, and then was told by customer service that "oh weird that shouldn't happen" 🙃
