3. I was originally supposed to fly back to HK on 9/12. Naturally my flight was cancelled with all the others and it took me until Saturday (9/15) to rebook a seat. I will say Singapore Airlines handled it pretty well under the circumstances and their comms was quite good. 3/3

Deeply unimpressed by Singapore Airlines A350 premium economy on last trip. Great service as always, but not a candle to Emirates or Turkish Airlines for food, seating and planes in general.

Excellent (if bittersweet) piece on the retirement of the Boeing 747 aircraft. I used to be a civil aviation nut back in the day, and any trip that involved flying on one of the great birds was always a pleasure. My peak experience by far was in upper deck biz class on Singapore Airlines in 2001. ✈️

We flew Cathay Pacific out and I think Singapore Airlines home on our honeymoon. Free booze and you could smoke if you went and sat at the back. Good times.

Good 2U 4 remaining cool and clear headed. Only flown Singapore Airlines once ( round trip Newark NJ to Changi ) but they made the trip spectacular! 17 hours, 50 minutes one way and at the end I didn’t want to leave 😃

Singapore Airlines was pretty solid for food back when I used to fly lots. Any US-based airline was awful - the classic AA dish being "Vomit Chicken". If you want hate, United is the way to fly.

4 warehouses in two days, and a lot of good conversation; nice little trip to India. But now back to airplanes. Today was the 787-10, and my first time on Singapore Airlines; definitely lived up to expectations! Then a quick drive across the strait, and into Malaysia for the next few days.

The 20hr direct flight with Singapore Airlines from JFK - SIN is a torture test I’ve had to put up with since this route was introduced, but god [expletive] please tell me what other airline flies this route AND gives you smoked salmon and grilled chicken thighs that are so good I asked for seconds

lol, our flight to Singapore got delayed by half an hour. Great, when our transfer is 50 minutes! Thankfully, Singapore Airlines moved us to an earlier flight pretty easily, but that caused a major panic.
