they look great overall but if these new amtrak trains aren't serving the second-worst coffee I've ever tasted* I'm gonna be real peeved * the worst, by far, was on an aer lingus flight

Would have been a great picture, not gonna lie. I am flying Aer Lingus and am now 0/2 in getting planes with jet bridges, so I suspect it was my fault for being in the boonies.

btw the crisps sammich was my first taste of irish cuisine, in my first flight here, on Aer Lingus: it was actually pretty good but i was giggling the whole time -- thankfully i quickly after had a Guinness stew, an actual proper Irish cuisine

Yea, 10k just for a flight is a no for me. I don't know the airline you're going but I got flights to Paris through American with their partner Aer Lingus for a great deal. I used miles and covered 3 flights.

Never fly Aer Lingus. They are god awful. Back in May, they delayed our flight 3 hours after take off, and then they cancelled our flight to Ireland. No real reason given. They couldn’t rebook us until 3 days later. So we lost 3 nights on our trip. They said they would refund us for our food/drinks

Congratulations to Aer Lingus, whose app just sent me a 'flight flown' update... for a flight I took 2 weeks ago 👀 Great to know their tech systems are so efficient and reliable... 🫠

"Oh no, Aer Lingus cancelled our connecting flight. Yes, this is awful." (Immediately Googling best full Irish near Dublin airport)

Good evening from "the airline you booked with (BA) and the one your trip is on (Aer Lingus) are owned by the same company but disagree on their records online if you have a checked bag" I can't wait until we experience this again in a few days

Aer Lingus A321XLR Economy (Dublin–Barbados): solid seat, great screens and decent comfort - but single-aisle logistics, average food and inconsistent service made this a mixed bag. Full review: windowseatpreferred.com/2026/04/aer-... #AerLingus #A321XLR #FlightReview

I've flown Air Canada and Aer Lingus to Europe and they had pretty decent in flight meals. Brussels Airline was pretty good too. Delta has been so hit and miss with me depending on where I'm flying out of.

Flight got cancelled which was unfortunate but thankfully the good folks in Aer Lingus were able to sort me with an alternative flight tomorrow morning. We will be departing these shores at 9am. We are back in business. We will behold the glory. ...and we will praise Him. #Cardiacs

look at Icelandair; they had great fares from Dulles (iirc?) or maybe NYC to London years ago. And you could maybe work in a layover in Iceland which could be awesome. Also, I flew Aer Lingus to Dublin a decade ago and they were great. Trivia: Lingus translates as "Fleet" so it means "Aer Fleet."

Aer Lingus are currently [expletive] all over their customers. Such a shame as they were a really good airline but I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole at the moment.

We were able to take advantage of the EU's version of this last summer when Aer Lingus cancelled a flight on us. Still a terrible experience, but it meant that we got back most of the money we'd paid for transatlantic flights for a family of four.

Oh, what a bummer. Pandemic ruined so much. I know Aer Lingus and Iceland Air had a stopover deals (at no extra cost) when you flew to the UK. We did that the first time and it was great. Hope you get there soon!

I flew on a max from Dublin to Philadelphia with Aer Lingus. It wasn't that bad. Not great, not terrible.

My mom flew Aer Lingus to Madrid because she could fly out of Hartford. Also, they do customs I Dublin on the way home 😻. But she especially loved flying to Ireland that way. One of her favorite trips. 💚

On the negative side, due to Aer Lingus being [expletive] useless, I’ve been stuck in Dublin airport all night and had no sleep. On the positive, I had a good chat with an Anglo-German man whose grandpa was a Panzer commander in WW2 and grandma (still alive!) was a secret agent who did some bad [expletive].

From Dublin to NYC. On an Aer Lingus flight. The flight was extremely full and the crew were as good as one could hope in the situation so we were just stuck with him in front of us.

I do a lot of flights, sometimes over sixty a year. I have never had anything other than a good experience with Aer Lingus. One time I fell asleep and woke up with breakfast left beside me. Another time I slept through breakfast and the lovely cabin crew brought me a bacon roll. Maybe I was lucky

I marvel any time I hear someone say "I was very pleased to be flying Aer Lingus because they are so friendly". In my experience, Aer Lingus staff, are rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. I avoid them more than I avoid Ryanair. www.irishtimes.com/your-money/2...

I would like to congratulate Aer Lingus on having sincerely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. A website you can't do anything on, chatbots that simply stop responding to you, and interminable wait times on the phone with no callback option. Great work!

I just want to go on the record and say Aer Lingus has a terrible, terrible website that can only be matched for uselessness by its customer service. I want to add API for a flight - as required - and they are actively preventing me from doing this. It is insane how bad the service is.

Back via Dublin next Saturday. Aer Lingus is our best way to Chicago, which helps with the American Imigration there. It's been a good few years when we could fly directly on American, Louise. Back down in Chicago on Thursday morning
