Manchester Terminal 2 gained three substantial lounge options in 2026. The Aspire Lounge is the broadest-access choice: travelers can book directly, while Priority Pass, DragonPass and LoungeKey members may also qualify under the lounge’s reservation rules. It has 300 seats, showers and long daily hours aimed at the terminal’s general passenger mix.

The Executive by Escape Lounges replaced the former 1903 Lounge in July. Manchester Airport describes it as a premium, bookable space with runway views, upgraded food and drinks, and access for any airline or cabin when a paid reservation is available. It does not currently accept Priority Pass or DragonPass.

Emirates goes its own way

The Emirates Lounge opened in September with the airline’s new signature design. Emirates says the £10 million room includes live cooking, a barista and mixologist, quiet and work zones, showers and direct boarding to Emirates aircraft. Access centers on Emirates First and Business Class passengers and eligible Skywards members, with paid entry subject to availability.

These lounges serve different travelers rather than competing on identical terms. Aspire is the flexible-access option, The Executive is a premium independent room, and Emirates is the airline-controlled flagship. Confirm hours, reservations and same-day eligibility before traveling.
