At a glance
One of nine lounges in Main Terminal, ranking 5th among them. A first-class flagship lounge with room to get work done in peace, food and drink worth arriving early for, and showers worth building a layover around — though seats are scarce at peak. It seats around 300, mixes proper cocktails, and has 20 shower suites to freshen up in. It's open around the clock, so a red-eye or a dawn departure is covered. It opened in 2015. A lounge you'd be glad to have time in. No network or membership access is recorded. Check the operator's current entry requirements.

Qatar Airways’ Al Safwa First Lounge in Doha feels more like a cultural landmark than an airport lounge – museum architecture, art exhibits, à la carte dining, spa, and private rooms. Arguably one of the finest lounges in the world. www.pointswellmade.co.uk/post/best-lo...
