At a glance
Virgin Atlantic's flagship Clubhouse in Heathrow Terminal 3 is the airline's home lounge. Upper Class passengers can enter directly from the Upper Class Wing, which has its own check-in and security. In March 2026 Virgin unveiled the first phase of a refurbishment. The Gallery, the most popular room for its panoramic runway views, was redesigned to fit more seats and now features commissioned work by London artists. The Cinema was redone in the style of a Soho screening room, with Bluetooth headphones and charging at the seats. There are two new work pods, The Townhouse and The Manor, named after Virgin Records studios, and an invitation-only Royal Box VIP area in Virgin red. The Clubhouse is known for sit-down, à la carte dining and a cocktail bar, and it has eight showers. Spring 2026 also brought pop-up Somadome meditation pods and Secret Spa treatments; check what's running when you visit. Virgin says a roof terrace for plane-spotting is planned. Access is mainly for Upper Class passengers and Flying Club Gold members flying Virgin Atlantic. Virgin restricted entry for some partner elites in 2023, and Delta Sky Club membership or Amex Platinum alone won't get you in.

I really do like the Virgin Atlantic clubhouse at LHR T3. Even though it gets very crowded, it is great, and the staff are incredible.
