Star Alliance Silver

About 15,000 qualifying miles or 15 segments.

What it gets you

Priority check-in, a free bag, a mileage bonus.

At the lounge door

No alliance lounge access. Any lounge benefit is the airline's own and only on its own flights.

3.Gold

Star Alliance Gold

About 35,000 qualifying miles or 30 segments.

What it gets you

Priority boarding and baggage, extra bags, upgrades on Avianca when available.

Avianca lounges with a guest on same-day Avianca flights, and Star Alliance Gold lounges, with one guest, whenever you fly a Star Alliance carrier the same day, in any cabin.

Top tier: the best priority, more upgrades, a dedicated line.
