At the lounge door

No status lounge access. Lounge entry is by cabin, membership, or a card.

2.Frequent Traveller

Star Alliance Silver

How to earn it

650 Points over two years, including 325 Qualifying Points.

What it gets you

Business-class check-in, priority boarding, an extra bag, and Business Lounge access on own flights.

At the lounge door

Lufthansa Group Business Lounges on same-day Group flights only, without a guest. No Star Alliance lounges elsewhere.

3.Senator

Star Alliance Gold

How to earn it

2,000 Points over two years, including 1,000 Qualifying Points.

What it gets you

Senator Lounges, first-class check-in, guaranteed seats, upgrade vouchers, a 25% bonus.

At the lounge door

Lufthansa Group Senator and Business Lounges with a guest on same-day Group flights, and Star Alliance Gold lounges, with one guest, whenever you fly a Star Alliance carrier the same day, in any cabin.

4.HON Circle

Star Alliance Gold

How to earn it

6,000 Points over two years, including 3,000 Qualifying Points, all on the Group's own flights.

What it gets you

Top tier: First Class Terminal and First Class Lounges, a personal assistant, the best upgrade priority.

At the lounge door

First Class Lounges and the Frankfurt First Class Terminal with a guest on same-day Group flights, plus every Senator and Star Alliance Gold lounge.

Qualification thresholds are the published ones as last checked and change most years; confirm the current numbers with Lufthansa Group. Alliance equivalences and the lounge rules that follow from them move far more slowly.
