It’s pretty wild that I flew 5,000 miles to NYC and back this week and l Alaska Airlines credited me zero miles because I used a “Saver” fare. I was placed in the worst seat right next to the bathroom. You should at least get SOMETHING for that service to the social order.

I recently flew with Alaska Airlines for the first time in a long time. They really didn't have their stuff together. But the worst thing that happened was mid-flight. Right after the drink cart finished, the flight attendant did a live-read of a commercial to sell you on the Alaska credit card.

One of the things I genuinely miss about Twitter was the way you could tell brands like Alaska Airlines that they’re pieces of [expletive]. My flight just got canceled in part because it was so delayed the flight crew gave up, and then lied to us as they were leaving the plane saying “we’ll be right back”

Today I woke up hungover, got lost while skiing and had to hike down a forest trail in hip deep snow, got my flight delayed, cancelled and rebooked to the wrong state ([expletive] you Alaska Airlines), and had to get a last minute flight to Oakland at expense. The only flight I’ve been on where I was halfway comfortable was an Alaska Airlines flight from Newark to Seattle. As for trains, the train I took in the UK from Sheffield to London had very little legroom, but I don’t seem to have that problem on NJ Transit trains here.

Alaska Airlines refund and credit policy are so bad that I wait to upgrade my seat in 12-24 hrs ahead of the flight. And I won’t check in early if not upgraded until an upgrade pops up b/c it’s really hard to upgrade after. It’s the offset I straddle for eschewing their Bank of America Credit Card

This isn't Twitter so I can't just @ Alaska Airlines to gush about how awesome the flight attendant on my flight was today. I bothered a group of attendants in the terminal how to ensure she was recognized for how hard she worked to make the flight fun. Best coast-to-coast tube experience in a while

When I was flying back from Utqiaġvik to Anchorage , our Alaska AIrlines flight got delayed on departure because I noticed and pointed out that my outer window was BADLY cracked, and they had to ask around and figure out if it was safe to fly (They DID move me to another seat regardless)

Flying to Barrow / Utqiagvik, Alaska two weeks before the winter solstice isn’t for everyone. I absolutely loved my time as far north as I could go in the USA, and I love that Alaska Airlines goes there. What an incredible experience. I’ll do it again for sure, maybe next month! Who knows!!
