Huuuuuuuve Ukrainian community in Canada. We love our pierogies. But WestJet does do a good job of varying their menu from the norm imo. One of my favourites they did was gyoza a couple years back.

WestJet did this on my flight a couple weeks ago, on a flight that was already delayed two hours due to emergency repairs. On the one hand, people need to comply with the size restrictions, but on the other hand, what’s up with the threats?

A lot of interesting US-origin-leisure experiments to Scotland lately, but I really wish I could see the load factors on the flight from Halifax. Short route and small aircraft, but terrible connectivity given that it's WestJet.

WS9, but the plane was a 787 yes. Other than the delay (which seems to have been CDG's fault) it was actually pretty good? Fairly solid business class tbh. Just annoying that I have to connect in Calgary because WestJet.

#Westjet has much learn from #United. I am in row 24 of a 737-max8 in EXTENDED comfort. So much of the plane has comfortable seating. I am on this flight as my dates changed and it cost less to cancel my #Westjet flight and rebook with #AirCanada (operated by #United). Double fail #WestJet.

WestJet has sent me like 10 e-mails bugging me to "curate my flight," upgrade my seat, etc. Because having to go through an intense decision tree to book my flight the first time, I might have missed one of those amazing options! I want the WestJet of 20 years ago back.

I’m not in Puerta Vallarta. But I have to get there by boat & taxi. And there have been no boats & no taxis. WestJet cancelled my flight home & have not contacted me since. The only available new date is, er, March 5th??! This would be awful but people have been so helpful & kind. Wow 🙏❤️

Looove flying out of Canada these days. First flight at ass-o'-clock in the morning was somehow delayed nonetheless. (Surprise, it's Westjet.) Staff at the subsequent security line searched seemingly everyone's luggage and I got held up behind a Sikh passenger who I'm 70% sure was being profiled.

I had to go to Regina and my only choice was WestJet. [expletive] awful. they cancelled my flight home, no re-book. on hold for five hours to re-book. got to the airport, which has NO amenities, and the flight was delayed six hours. I would rather revive real passenger rail service than fly westjet.

I've flown a ton on WestJet, going to UK soon on WestJet. Never had any issues myself. I've flown also on Air Canada a lot for business. Would never use them again a terrible airline.

Far be it from me to big up any credit card company, but I gotta say Canadian Tire mastercard has been good - they even recouped the cost of a flight from Westjet for me when Westjet was totally stonewalling

I sincerely miss the @aircanada.bsky.social days at #YQL because I've just had, yet again, the worst experience with Westjet. I'm sitting at home instead of being on my flight. Give us $600 and also we hate you Air Canada, please come back to Lethbridge 🙏

Good! I paid a WestJet fare and just learned (at the gate) that it’s a swoop plane. They literally just told people to use the washroom before boarding because there are only 2.

I didn’t feel the service was terrible. The gate and cabin crews have been great to me. What I notice is the leg room has decreased over time and the general comfort. Load factors are always full. But compared to the level Porter is at, WestJet is now a downgrade. I miss the “owner’s care” years.

I guess we should have taken heed of all the other terrible reviews of #Westjet customer service: our travel arrangements go down the drain and we lose a significant amount of $$. Never again!

Has anyone noticed the nosedive in WestJet? The last three trips they have changed our plane & our seat selection without notice and to worse seats! Been flying with them since 1996 for business & pleasure and they were great. Now, they have followed like the others into the toilet! 💩

I flew Westjet recently... JSYK, their in-flight entertainment app doesn't work on all devices. It definitely doesn't work on a bunch of different Samsung devices. And they don't seem to want to fix it. Have you ever been in a plane for 8hrs with a kid and no entertainment? Not great.

Westjet is a terrible airline. Winnipeg airport - 3rd party working for them does not know how to process dogs in carriers, they are rude and refused to give me their names. They also screwed up on lounger access and I can't get in - they don't know how to fix it. Can't even call a number as all

So WestJet cancels my flight yesterday and wanted me to fly into Nanaimo at 1.30am. Nope so I changed my flight to this morning and now we are delayed taking off in Edmonton for over an hour if they can actually find a pilot. Good ol' WestJet has had my parents sitting on the plane for 2h20m now waiting for deicing. Now the pilot has timed out so they have to wait for replacement. All "due to weather" while every other airline is operating fine.

[expletive] westjet! I’m sure it’s part of the “contract” to buy airline tickets, but in what other industry do you sell someone tickets that are direct and at a reasonable time of day and then send an “update” to the tickets that makes them indirect and terrible takeoff times?!?!

Worst I’ve ever seen an airline pull was when I took a Westjet flight with my mom to BC and they brought her wheelchair out in a box completely disassembled down to the nuts and bolts. Their response when we asked what happened was “someone must have gotten bored”

I agree. I think, in Canada, we get stuff as part of airline passengers’ rights legislation that was passed. But I’m not sure of particulars. Our flight to YYZ on WestJet was delayed a couple hours, me & hubs together got $60 for meal vouchers @ YWG. But ppl w/ connections got hooped for tickets

I was quite concerned at the poor air quality during boarding of my @WestJet flight on the way there. I wonder if there’s a connection to my flight this morning being delayed 5 hours due to “flight crew member availability”. I wish everyone a speedy recovery.
