At a glance

The Concorde Room is British Airways' most exclusive lounge, at the south end of Terminal 5A next to Galleries First. People who originate at Heathrow can check in at the First Wing, at the far right of the check-in hall, and use its private security lane to come out right by the lounge. Otherwise, after main security turn right before the escalators down and look for the unmarked double doors. There's no buffet. Everything is à la carte with table service, either in the white-tablecloth Concorde Dining room or wherever you're sitting. The drinks are the strongest part, with Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle Champagne poured as on board. The space is made up of living-room-style seating areas, a bar, a quiet room, and a large terrace overlooking the terminal, which now has its own dining tables. Shower suites are shared with Galleries First. Reviewers say the lounge is comfortable but plain by global first-class standards: the Elemis spa and private cabanas are gone, and outlets can be hard to find. Entry is for British Airways First passengers and qualifying Gold Guest List members, but not oneworld Emerald members in general, who use Galleries First. BA has announced a major overhaul of its Heathrow lounges starting in 2026, so expect changes.
