Regent Seven Seas Cruises is building a whole bar menu around space. The ultra-luxury line has shown off the bars, lounges and drinks coming to its new ship, Seven Seas Prestige, which debuts in December 2026. Regent shared the details on October 6, 2026, in its announcement. The star is Galileo's Bar, home to a "Negroni Observatory."

Galileo's Bar and the Negroni Observatory

Galileo's Bar is brand new. Regent says it is inspired by Galileo's spirit of discovery and the Italian habit of aperitivo, the drink before dinner. The bar's centerpiece is the Negroni Observatory, a set of new takes on the classic Italian cocktail, plus drinks inspired by the night sky.

Signature drinks include:

  • Comet Negroni, with Italicus, Beefeater Gin and Noilly Prat Vermouth
  • Astronomer's Negroni, with mezcal, Beefeater Gin and Cocchi Storico Vermouth di Torino
  • Dark Matter Espresso Martini, with Amaro Montenegro, vodka and espresso
  • Jupiter's Garden, with gin, Frangelico and fresh basil
  • Venetian Moon, with gin, lychee, lemon and basil
  • Orbit Zero Espresso Martini, an alcohol-free version made with Lyre's Dark Cane, Lyre's Amaretti and espresso

Mediterranean flavors at Azure

Azure is a restaurant serving Mediterranean and Middle Eastern food in a mezze style. Its drinks lean on herbs, citrus and regional wines. Picks include:

  • Monastery Sour, with Bénédictine, brandy, lemon and thyme syrup
  • Beet and Pear Sour, with pear vodka, fresh beet juice, lemon, thyme syrup and egg white
  • Provence Bloom, with elderflower liqueur, lavender syrup, lemon, peach puree, gin and tonic
  • Flavored waters with cucumber, lemon, orange or pomegranate

Open-air drinks at Solmar Terrace

Solmar Terrace at Compass Rose is an outdoor spot with wines, cocktails and alcohol-free drinks. The menu includes:

  • Pearl of the Riviera, with Grey Goose La Poire, Cocchi Americano, Luxardo Aperitivo and Prosecco
  • Imperial Yuzu, with junmai daiginjo sake, yuzu sake liqueur, Italicus and Prosecco
  • Harissa Bloody Mary, made with harissa paste
  • Mediterranean Paloma, with blanco tequila, pink grapefruit, rosemary honey and soda
  • Orchard Fizz and Dark 'n Spicy, two alcohol-free options

A signature cocktail for the ship

Every Regent ship has its own signature cocktail, and Prestige gets one too. It mixes Patrón Silver Tequila, Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto, lime juice, egg white, agave syrup and grapefruit or orange bitters. It is finished with a dried lime wheel and Himalayan salt.

The ship will also have the Prestige Lounge, Meridian Lounge, Observation Lounge, the Art Deco-style Connoisseur Lounge, a casino, a pool bar and Coffee Connection.

"Each venue has been thoughtfully crafted to create its own sense of atmosphere and occasion," said Wesley D'Silva, president of Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

A bigger ship with few more guests

Seven Seas Prestige is Regent's first new class of ship in a decade. Regent says it will be 40% larger than its past ships but carry only 10% more guests. It is 76,550 gross tons, with just 411 suites and 630 crew.

All suites have balconies. There are 12 suite types, including four new ones. The top suite, the Skyview Regent Suite, is what Regent calls the largest all-inclusive, ultra-luxury cruise ship suite in history. The ship will have 11 places to eat, the line's largest spa, and Lumière, Regent's first sound-and-light show.

When it sails

The maiden trip leaves Miami on December 28, 2026. It is an 11-night round trip in the Caribbean. It visits Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, Jamaica and the Cayman Islands. The first season has 12 trips across the Caribbean and Europe, with up to 97 included shore trips per voyage.

Regent's fares are all-inclusive. They cover drinks such as fine wines and spirits, unlimited shore trips, Starlink Wi-Fi, laundry and tips.

What it means for cruisers

Regent's fares include drinks such as fine wines and spirits, so you are not paying per glass in the usual way. Check with Regent for which premium pours are covered. See Regent's line page on Cruise Frog for more.
