Zurich's Primeclass Lounge shuts for good Oct. 31, and Munich's Lounge World starts closing 30 minutes earlier
Two late-October changes affect lounge plans: a permanent closure at Zurich and a 30-minute earlier closing time at Munich.

Two European lounge plans need a date check this month. Zurich's Primeclass Lounge is scheduled to close permanently on October 31, 2026. Munich's Airport Lounge World will close 30 minutes earlier each evening from October 26.
Both changes appear in Priority Pass's live listings, and Munich Airport's own page backs up the current Munich hours. The distinction matters: these are upcoming changes, and both lounges remain available under their current arrangements before the relevant dates.
Zurich loses its Primeclass option
Priority Pass gives October 31 as the permanent closure date for Primeclass at Zurich. It currently lists daily hours of 6 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
The lounge is airside on the third floor near gate E46. It serves non-Schengen departures and connecting travelers. The listing allows a maximum three-hour stay and free entry for children under two.
The notice does not name a replacement or explain the closure. Our Primeclass lounge page has the details.
If your trip falls on October 31 itself, confirm the final operating arrangements before relying on a visit. A closure date does not tell you whether the last day's normal hours will apply.
Recheck your Zurich alternative
Start with your departure gate area and your actual access program. Then choose a lounge that is both reachable and included in your membership. An airline lounge may require an eligible cabin or status even when it sits next to a lounge that accepts a card program.
Do not assume another Zurich lounge offers the same facilities, guest allowance or hours as Primeclass. If you need a shower, a quiet work area or room for a family, check that feature separately.
The Zurich airport page is a starting point for comparing locations. Your issuer's current directory should confirm whether the alternative is included on your travel date.
Munich closes half an hour earlier
Priority Pass's Airport Lounge World listing shows current hours of 5 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. From October 26, the listed closing time becomes 9:45 p.m. The opening time remains 5 a.m. Priority Pass lists a cold buffet, a children's play area and day beds, though the day beds depend on space.
Munich Airport's own lounge page confirms the current schedule. It describes a 1,200-square-meter lounge over two levels in the Terminal 1 gates A area, after security. Priority Pass identifies the area as the Terminal 1 pier for non-Schengen travel.
This is an hours change, not a closure. Our Airport Lounge World page shows both the current hours and the new schedule.
Late flights need a fallback
A 30-minute change can matter if your departure is late or delayed. Work backward from the new closing time rather than assuming the lounge will stay open until boarding.
Munich's listing allows entry up to three hours before your scheduled departure. That window does not guarantee three hours inside if the lounge closes sooner.
Before leaving for either airport, check the lounge listing again, your boarding area and your membership. In Zurich, pick an alternative for trips from the closure date onward. In Munich, plan for the earlier evening finish from October 26. Those small checks can prevent a wasted walk and an unexpected wait at the gate.
