Coming home in '22, I crawled into bed at like 2:30am and saw a voicemail from JetBlue saying my flight was canceled and they re-booked me on a Monday night red-eye to Boston. I called, said get [expletive], give me back my money and I hopped on a 5:30am SW flight. Got home at 7pm. Worst experience

Oh man, I've loved my flights with JetBlue. I wish they were a better option for this route. Right now the best I could do with them would be a direct flight to an airport 3 hours away, and then driving. Which isn't terrible, but maybe not the best plan for a test run when I don't know the area.

The best and smartest trip for me today was a 530a bus. But I didn't want to wake up that early (spoiler: I was awake anyways 🙄), so I booked a 1050a flight. Mechanical delay. 🤬 And, because airlines, JetBlue ferried a working plane on the exact route rather than carrying the impacted pax.

Finding ways to kill the business they pioneered is... innovating. We ditched Southwest over a decade ago. We fly JetBlue mostly, as the flights are better timed, mor comfortable, and better in-flight experience. This can be said for just about all major airlines now.

I went through all the emails again today and there’s NO direct mention of my return flight in any of those from JetBlue. Not noting one cancellation would trigger the other. Not CONFIRMING that both flights had been cancelled.

Once my JetBlue flight had to use one of their fancy planes, and I had an economy-plus ticket, so I got upgraded to a lie-flat seat. It was amazing.

Had to stay at the TWA terminal hotel in 2022 because JetBlue cancelled our flight (no compensation or help with a hotel, thanks US consumer protections). It was silly expensive but like a night in Austin Powers' boudoir.

Every time we fly on JetBlue the actual flight experience has been wonderful (knock on wood), but the website experience has been TERRIBLE. It's buggy, won't let you do what you should, and doesn't give appropriate instructions about how to do things. What a weird disconnect.

Apparently the entire Tampa airport just shut down. So our flight out is cancelled, and we may get stuck in a Cat 3 hurricane zone. Jetblue is seeing now if they can get us on a flight out of Orlando instead.

Lol. After discovering this last night I decided to just go to sleep and deal with it this morning, hoping it was just a glitch. But, nope. I called and my rebooked flight was cancelled and JetBlue just didn't tell me. I may never get home.
