    7. Newark Terminal A, Grimshaw + STV Who ever thought Newark could be nice? Terminal A feels European. It's big, coherent, full of daylight, has great shops and works extremely well. The money shows up in the total experience, not just the architecture.

They redid Terminal A at Newark and it's actually designed for human beings now! O'Hare is absolutely the worst, and the one airport where I almost missed my flight because of security (despite arriving 2.5 hours ahead of my flight.)

The new PANYNJ signage system is looking great at the new Terminal A at Newark. I do think the "NJ Trivia" theme is a bit overdone though, and especially hate that the gate monument signs show trivia 75% of the time instead of flight info.
