Who gets into an Alaska Lounge

Alaska Lounge and Lounge+ members get in with up to two guests or their immediate family, meaning a spouse or partner and children under 21. Everyone needs a same-day boarding pass on Alaska, Hawaiian, American or another oneworld airline. oneworld Sapphire and Emerald members flying oneworld get in with one guest, and Alaska first class passengers get in on longer itineraries. Day passes run about $60 to $65 when there is space, and one lounge still takes Priority Pass for a fee.

We ranked every open Alaska Lounge with a photo on file. The JFK lounge in Terminal 7 closed in October 2025 when Alaska moved to Terminal 8, so it is out. That leaves seven, and three of them are in Seattle.

1. Alaska Lounge (N), Seattle

The North Satellite lounge is the flagship and the only Alaska Lounge with showers. Take the train to the North Satellite and ride the escalator up from the middle of the concourse to the mezzanine above gates N13 to N18. It holds 400, has a full bar, two showers and a rooftop view across the field, and scores five for food, drinks, service, quiet, seating, views and crowding. Hours are 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. If you have time to choose a Seattle lounge, choose this one.

2. Alaska Lounge (C), Seattle

The Concourse C lounge is on the mezzanine next to gate C16, a 200-seat room with a full bar and no showers. Coffee, service, seating, views, Wi-Fi and workspace score five, but cleanliness and power are a three. The hours are the catch: 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. only, so evening flyers should walk to D or ride to N.

3. Alaska Lounge (D), Seattle

The Concourse D lounge is right at the start of the concourse past security checkpoint 4, near gate D1, open 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. It was renovated in 2023, holds 200 and has a full bar. Quiet, seating, cleanliness and Wi-Fi score five, while coffee, crowding and workspace sit at three. It is the handiest of the three Seattle rooms if you are short on time.

4. Alaska Lounge, Portland

The Portland lounge opened in 2026 on the mezzanine of Concourse C across from gate C5, up from the south checkpoint. It is a 230-seat room with a full bar, open 4:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., and reviewers called it a big upgrade on the old space. Crowding, seating and Wi-Fi score five, but food, service, views and workspace are a three, which keeps it mid-table for now.

5. Alaska Lounge (T6), Los Angeles

The LAX lounge opened in 2017 on the Terminal 6 mezzanine near gate 64, with 200 seats and a full bar, open 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Restrooms, Wi-Fi and workspace score five. Seating, quiet, food, coffee, views and power are a three. Day passes are $60.

6. Alaska Lounge, Anchorage

The Anchorage lounge reopened in 2025 after a year of work that added 2,600 square feet and more than doubled the seating to 140. It is near gate C1 in Concourse C, open 5 a.m. to 1 a.m., with apron views that score five, espresso from locally roasted Kaladi Brothers beans and rotating Alaska Native art. Food, drinks and crowding are a three. It left Priority Pass in 2021, so do not count on a card here.

7. Alaska Lounge, San Francisco

The San Francisco lounge opened in 2024 on the upper level of Harvey Milk Terminal 1, across from gate B6 and between The Club SFO and the Admirals Club. It seats 150 with a full bar and is open 5 a.m. to midnight. Coffee and quiet score five, but food, drinks, service, seating and views are a three. Priority Pass members can get in for a $15 fee per person, which is unusual for an airline lounge.

Which one to pick on a connection

In Seattle, the N lounge is worth the train ride if you have more than an hour, and the D lounge is the fallback when you do not. The C lounge is a fine morning stop but shuts at 7 p.m. In San Francisco, oneworld flyers with a choice should compare the Admirals Club next door, since it is on the same corridor. In Portland and Anchorage there is one lounge and it is good enough.
