Why seven, not ten

Lounge Frog has lounges on file at three Mexican airports: Mexico City, Cancún and Guadalajara. Eleven of them are rated, but only seven have a photo, and that is the rule for this list. The Admirals Club and United Club in Mexico City Terminal 1, the Aeroméxico lounge at Cancún and the domestic Salón Premier in Mexico City T2 all lack photos. Guadalajara's two VIP lounges rate just 2.0. A new 24-hour Harmony Lounge opened in Mexico City T2 in September 2026 but is not yet rated. Ranking is by overall score, with ties broken by name.

1. Mera Business Lounge (T3), Cancún

Mera Business Lounge (T3) is the top lounge in Mexico at 4.8 and sits in the global top 60. It is on the upper floor next to gate C17, through the duty free shop after security. Full bar, two showers, 200 seats, open 6:30 to 21:30. Priority Pass, LoungeKey and DragonPass all work, with guests at the card's usual rate, typically $35. Walk-up passes are sold when there is room. It scores 5 on eleven of fourteen metrics, including food, drinks and crowding. For a Cancún departure with a Priority Pass, there is no reason to look elsewhere.

2. Mera Business Lounge (T4), Cancún

Mera Business Lounge (T4) matches its sibling at 4.8. It is on the ground floor of Terminal 4's international departures, near gate 67A. Same size, same hours, same access. Service, Wi-Fi and food score 5; cleanliness, drinks and seating score 4. Most flights to the US use Terminal 3 or 4, so one of these two is usually the right answer.

3. The Centurion Lounge (T2), Mexico City

The Centurion Lounge (T2) is on the mezzanine in Terminal 2, up the escalators after security, and serves both domestic and international departures. It is big, with 300 seats, four showers and a craft cocktail bar. Open 5:00 to 23:00. Amex Platinum and Business Platinum cardholders get in. Guests are $50, or free after $75,000 in annual spend, and since July 2026 they must be on the same flight. Centurion members bring two guests free. Crowding and quiet both score 4, which is honest for a lounge this popular.

4. Aeroméxico Salón Premier (T2, international), Mexico City

Aeroméxico Salón Premier (T2, international) is Aeroméxico's flagship, on the mezzanine near gate 75. It has 400 seats, six showers and a full bar. Premier class passengers, Club Premier Gold and Platinum, and SkyTeam Elite Plus get in with one guest. Food, drinks, quiet and views all score 5. For Delta flyers connecting through Mexico City, this is the SkyTeam lounge to use.

5. The Centurion Lounge (T1), Mexico City

The Centurion Lounge (T1) opened in 2012 beside gate 23 in Terminal 1 international departures. It has a tequila bar, 300 seats and four showers. Open 5:00 to 22:00. Same Amex rules as T2. Cleanliness, quiet and food score 5. It is older than the T2 lounge and a little less polished, but the tequila selection alone makes it worth a visit before a late flight.

6. The Grand Lounge Elite, Mexico City

The Grand Lounge Elite is the best Priority Pass option in Mexico City. It is in Terminal 1 international near gate 19 on concourse H, just after the escalators down. It is open 24 hours, which matters for red-eye departures. Full bar, two showers, 150 seats. Priority Pass, LoungeKey and DragonPass get you in, and walk-up passes are sold. Food, service and coffee score 5.

7. Mera Business Lounge (T2), Cancún

Mera Business Lounge (T2) is the weakest of the three Cancún Mera lounges at 3.6. It is up the escalators on the right after security, toward the A gates. No showers, 150 seats, full bar, open 6:30 to 21:30. Same access as the others. Food scores 5 but crowding, quiet, service and Wi-Fi are all 3. If your flight leaves from Terminal 2, it is still the only lounge there.
