Chase and IHG Hotels & Resorts have added a new top card to their lineup. The IHG One Rewards Premier Select Credit Card costs $350 a year. It comes with automatic Platinum Elite status, a yearly airline credit and a launch offer of 200,000 bonus points. The companies announced it on October 1, 2026. You can read the Chase announcement for the full terms.
Chase also updated the three other IHG cards and renamed two of them. It says annual fees across the lineup "will be adjusted in 2027," but it has not said by how much.
What the new $350 card includes
Chase lists these main perks for the Premier Select card:
- Up to $300 a year in food and drink rewards to use at IHG hotels.
- A $200 yearly airline statement credit on qualifying flight purchases.
- Up to $50 in United TravelBank cash.
- A free night each year on your card anniversary, for stays up to 60,000 points. You can add your own points to book a pricier room.
- Automatic Platinum Elite status. Chase says this can bring suite upgrades you can confirm in advance, a welcome amenity, and early check-in or late check-out when rooms are free.
- 20 elite night credits each year, plus 2 more for every $5,000 you spend.
- A fourth night free on four-night award stays.
On earning, Chase says the card gets up to 28X total points at IHG hotels. It earns 6X on dining and other travel, including rideshare, and 3X on everything else.
Chase claims the card offers "over $1,000 in value in the first year." That figure depends on using the food and drink rewards, the airline credit and the free night in full. Not every cardmember will.
The other cards are changing too
The existing IHG Premier card stays at $150 a year for now. It adds up to $100 in food and drink rewards and a $100 airline credit. Its free night cap rises to 50,000 points. It also gets 15 elite night credits each year.
The no-fee card used to be called the IHG One Rewards Traveler Card. It is now just the IHG One Rewards Credit Card. It adds 5 elite night credits each year and 3X points at grocery stores.
The business card drops the word "Premier" and is now the IHG One Rewards Business Credit Card. It costs $200 a year. It adds food and drink rewards, a $100 airline credit and up to $100 a year toward Expensify.
Chase says current cardmembers will get a notice in October. That notice will list each new benefit and when it starts.
Launch bonuses end November 18
Chase is running limited-time offers for new cardmembers through November 18:
- Premier Select: 200,000 points after $5,000 in spending in the first three months.
- Premier: 180,000 points after $3,000 in three months.
- No-fee card: 125,000 points after $2,000 in three months.
- Business: 190,000 points after $5,000 in three months.
What it means for airport lounges
None of the four IHG cards lists airport lounge access in the Chase release. The airline credit can help pay for flights, and the United TravelBank cash works on United. But neither one gets you into a lounge.
That matters if you are weighing this card against a travel card at a similar price. A card like the Capital One Venture X Business includes visits to Capital One Lounges. The IHG card is built for hotel nights, not airport time.
If you stay at IHG hotels often, the new perks may be worth a look. If your main goal is a quiet seat before your flight, look elsewhere.
