IndiGo is marking BluChip's second anniversary with an October 2026 campaign that offers 2,000 bonus BluChips to qualifying members. The main condition is completing any two of three stated activities during the offer period.
The airline also advertises a prize draw for one member to win 200,000 BluChips and accelerated earning with participating partners. The guaranteed bonus, prize draw and partner offers are separate parts of the campaign.
What qualifies for the 2,000 bonus
In its October 1 release, IndiGo lists three qualifying activities: earning BluChips by traveling on an IndiGoStretch flight; redeeming BluChips for an IndiGo flight; and earning BluChips through any five program partners, including its co-branded credit cards.
Members must complete two of those three activities. The five-partner requirement belongs to one activity; it should not be read as five purchases of any kind.
The release describes the campaign as running during October 2026 and notes that terms apply. Check the full offer rules for transaction dates, posting delays and any registration requirements before making a purchase solely to qualify.
A flight reservation, completed travel and points posting can happen on different days. The announcement does not resolve every timing case, so ask the program if an activity near the end of October will count.
The prize draw is a different benefit
The 200,000-BluChip headline refers to one lucky winner. It is not the amount promised to every participating member.
Likewise, the release's double-earning language refers to participating partners, including co-branded cards. Do not assume it doubles all possible earning across every partner or every transaction.
The announcement also says surprise offers will appear during the month. A later offer may have its own rules, so keep a copy of the terms that apply when you participate.
This distinction is useful when comparing the campaign's value: a conditional fixed bonus can be assessed separately from the uncertain outcome of a draw.
Plan a redemption around a real flight
If a redemption is one of your chosen activities, first find a flight that fits the journey. Check the total payment, taxes or charges, and the change conditions before spending points.
Lounge Frog's IndiGo airline page provides carrier context, while the Delhi, Mumbai and Pune guides help with the airport portion.
The airline's new Udaipur services are another reminder to check the actual airport. A flight serving the Delhi or Mumbai region may use a different airport from an earlier trip.
A bonus is most useful when it accompanies travel or purchases you already wanted. Compare the cost of any extra activity with the value you reasonably expect to get from the reward.
Points do not settle lounge eligibility
The festival announcement does not introduce a new lounge-entry benefit. Earning a bonus or winning the draw does not by itself establish access to an airport room.
For a domestic trip, possible directory starting points include the Pune ground-floor Elysian Lounge and O'Vetra Domestic Lounge at Bhubaneswar. Check your card or paid access arrangement and current hours.
IndiGo says the program now has more than 25 partners. That expands the range of potential earning activity, but it also makes the exact partner terms important.
Before committing, identify the two activities you intend to complete and confirm how each is counted. Keep invoices and travel records until the bonus posts. The campaign's useful feature is a defined reward for qualifying activity, provided the terms match what you actually plan to do.
