Decide where the bag belongs before planning the layover
A long gap between flights can look like a chance to see the city. The plan becomes less appealing when it involves pulling a suitcase through every station and café. Luggage storage can help, but only if the drop-off and collection fit the airport journey.
Radical Storage is an option to compare for a city stop. Its London directory, for example, lists local businesses around several stations. A city listing does not establish that a location is inside an airport or accessible from an airside connection.

Start with your flight and baggage arrangements
Before buying storage, check whether you can leave the airport and whether you need to collect checked baggage. Ask the airline about the itinerary you hold. Do not assume that a checked bag will be available during a connection or automatically transferred on separate bookings.
If you remain airside, a city storage booking is not a useful substitute for understanding the airport's rules. If you leave, work backward from the next flight's requirements and include the return through the airport.
I would plan the bag collection before the sightseeing. The return journey needs to work even when I am tired and the first café stop takes longer than expected.
Choose the location by the return route

The nearest pin to an attraction may be the wrong choice if collecting the bag sends you away from the airport connection. I would favor a simple return route over a small saving in the storage price.
How to use Radical Storage deliberately
The published booking process is to find a location, reserve online and use the confirmation for drop-off and collection. Check the selected business's opening hours and your booked times before paying.
Keep the confirmation offline. At drop-off, confirm the number of bags and ask how collection will be recorded. Retain the details until the luggage is back with you.
Keep your passport, boarding information, medication and anything you need during the outing in a small bag you carry. I would also remove items I would be unwilling to leave with the storage provider.
Read the protection and cancellation terms
Radical Storage's terms describe a conditional contractual guarantee, not an insurance policy. Read the limits and claim requirements before relying on it. A protection headline is not a reason to leave essential documents in the suitcase.
Check the cancellation rule on the booking as well. If the flight changes, review your airport plan before deciding whether the city outing still fits. A storage reservation should serve the layover rather than become a reason to force it.
Leave time for the airport you return to
