Most of Asia's lounge reputation comes from its big hub lounges, and those deserve it. This list is about the rest: the rooms you end up in with a Priority Pass card at 6am, or the paid upgrade that turns out worse than the free room next door. Four of the ten are not even past security, and three are at one airport.
The rules I used, the same as across this series: every open lounge in South, East and Southeast Asia with a Lounge Frog overall rating built from at least eight rated metrics, sorted from the bottom. That threshold matters here. The site lists dozens of Indian and Chinese lounges sitting at 1.0 or 1.5, but on one or two metrics each, and a score built from one data point says nothing about a room, so none of those qualify. Ties on the displayed score are broken by the unrounded average, then by the number of very low individual scores. Every lounge below is open as of October 2026, and each comes with the best rated alternative at the same airport I could find, or an honest note that there isn't one. Scores are our editorial ratings, explained in our methodology.
Landside rooms you probably do not need
The two worst-rated lounges in Asia are both at Bengaluru, and both are on the wrong side of security. A third Bengaluru room comes in at number 10.
1. T1 Lounge (Kerbside), Bengaluru, 1.3. This is a Priority Pass room outside Terminal 1 arrivals, near Arrival Gate 13. It scores 1 on ten of its fourteen metrics, including seating, service, crowding, wifi, power and drinks, and nothing higher than a 2. The stay limit is two hours and you need a same-day boarding pass. If you are departing Terminal 1 domestically, clear security and use the 080 Domestic Lounge on Level 2, also on Priority Pass, which rates 3.8 with 5s for seating, power and workspace.
2. 080 Arrival Lounge (T2), Bengaluru, 1.6. Same idea in Terminal 2: a landside room on Level 0 of the arrivals hall, on Priority Pass, two-hour cap. Food, drinks, seating, power, restrooms, views and workspace all score 1; wifi and coffee manage a 3. Showers and alcohol are paid extras. Airside in the same terminal, the 080 Lounge (Domestic T2) rates 4.4 and the 080 International Lounge 4.5 with two showers, both on Priority Pass. Bengaluru is a good Priority Pass airport once you are through security; it is the landside rooms (and one paid upgrade, below) that drag it down. The full order is on the Bengaluru leaderboard.
7. Aviserv Lounge (East), Mumbai, 2.8. Mumbai's version sits landside in Terminal 2 arrivals, Level 2, near Arrival Gate C, open 24 hours on Priority Pass. Restrooms (4) are its best score; coffee, drinks and exclusivity sit at 2. If you are flying out of Terminal 2, the airside Adani Lounge (Loyalty, Domestic T2) rates 4.8 and Adani Lounge East on the international side 4.6, both on Priority Pass.
To be fair, an arrivals lounge does a different job: if you landed at 2am and need somewhere to wait, the airside rooms are no use. If you are departing, go through security.
9. IASS Executive Lounge (T2), Tokyo Narita, 2.8. Narita's Terminal 2 Priority Pass lounge is landside on the 4th floor above the departures hall, open 07:00 to 21:00. It is not bad at everything: quiet, food, coffee and power all score 4. It falls down on seating, crowding, cleanliness, drinks, service and wifi, all 2. The catch is that Priority Pass members have no better airside choice in Terminal 2 on our site. With oneworld status, the JAL Sakura Lounge (T2, main) rates 4.8. Priority Pass members flying from Terminal 1 have the Korean Air KAL Lounge at 4.1.
Contract lounges at the Chinese hubs
3. VIP Lounge No. 25, Hangzhou, 2.3. The Priority Pass lounge for international departures at Hangzhou's Terminal 4 is on the 5th floor, open 06:20 to 23:00. Meals come at set times from a buffet and a noodle and wonton station, with packaged snacks in between, and the record notes hard metal seating and a dining room that fills at mealtimes. Seating, crowding, service, wifi and drinks score 2; food is its best at 3. I can't point you to anything better. The other Hangzhou lounges on the site are rated on one metric each, which is not enough to recommend them.
8. VIP Lounge No. 69, Shanghai Pudong, 2.8. Pudong's airport-run lounge near Gate 69 in the Terminal 2 international zone has good views (4) and decent food (4), but drinks, quiet, exclusivity and workspace all score 2. It is one of the busier card lounges at the airport and has an indoor smoking area. Walk to the China Eastern No. 77 Lounge near Gate 77 instead: same terminal, same Priority Pass and Plaza Premium access, 3.6 overall, with noodles cooked to order and showers.
Domestic rooms that charge their way in
4. Good Times Bar, Mumbai, 2.6. This is a bar-lounge in Terminal 1B domestic departures near Gate 10, sold as paid entry with some card-program access. The bar side is the good part: drinks, service and cleanliness all score 4. Exclusivity and restrooms score 1, and seating and power 2, so it works for a drink and not for an hour of work. Mumbai's Adani Lounge T1B in the same terminal takes Priority Pass and other card programs and rates 3.0, but only on two metrics, so treat that score with caution. The better-rated Travel Club Lounge (T1C) rates 3.2, also on Priority Pass.
6. The Coral Executive Lounge (Domestic), Bangkok Suvarnabhumi, 2.8. Four lounges on this list show 2.8; this one ranks worst of them: its unrounded average ties Mumbai's Aviserv East, and it has two 1s, for exclusivity and restrooms. Seating (4) and drinks (4) are its strengths. It is on Concourse A, open 05:00 to 22:00, on Priority Pass and DragonPass, and it sells walk-up entry. Bangkok's domestic side has no better card lounge on our site: the Miracle domestic lounge rates lower, and the Thai Airways Royal Silk Lounge on Concourse A rates only 2.9 and is limited to Thai and Star Alliance business passengers and THAI elites. So the Coral may still be the best of a weak set, but it is worth knowing that before paying the walk-up rate.
Beaten by the room down the hall
5. Matina Lounge West (T1), Seoul Incheon, 2.7. Incheon has some of the best Priority Pass lounges in Asia, which is what makes this one stand out. It is on the 4th floor opposite Gate 43, open 06:00 to 22:00, and the food scores a 5. Almost everything else scores 2: seating, crowding, quiet, restrooms, views and workspace. Walk to the other end of Terminal 1. The Sky Hub Lounge East opposite Gate 25 rates 4.8, takes Priority Pass, LoungeKey and DragonPass, and is adults only. The Incheon leaderboard has the rest.
The upgrade that is worse than the room around it
10. 080 VIP Domestic Lounge, Bengaluru, 2.9. Also called Courtyard Club, this is a paid section inside the 080 lounge complex on Level 4 of Terminal 2 domestic departures, sold through Plaza Premium. It is quiet (4) and has good seats, workspace and drinks (all 4), but coffee, food, power, wifi and crowding all score 2. The odd part is that the main 080 Lounge (Domestic T2) it sits inside rates 4.4 and takes Priority Pass. The access routes are different, so check what your card actually covers, but if you have Priority Pass there is no reason to pay for the VIP room.
Just missing the list
The Garuda Indonesia Business Class Lounge at Jakarta's Terminal 3 also shows 2.9 and missed tenth place by a hundredth of a point on its unrounded average. Showers, service and cleanliness score 4, but food, seating, quiet, wifi and workspace all score 2, which is weak for an airline's flagship lounge at its home airport. Delhi's former Amex lounge in Terminal 3 would have ranked at 2.8, but it closed at the end of 2025, so it is out.
