Chase Sapphire Lounge access in late 2026: which cards get in, guest rules and the three-hour window
With DFW now open, LAX coming and Seattle up for a vote, here is who gets into Chase's Sapphire Lounges, how many guests you can bring and when you can enter.

Chase's Sapphire Lounges keep showing up in the news. Chase opened its Dallas Fort Worth lounge in July, lists Los Angeles as coming soon, faces a port vote in Seattle on October 27, and is lending its lounge playbook to Southwest's new Icon Lounges. With more people asking who actually gets in, here is a plain guide to the rules as Chase's own lounge page states them today.
Which cards get you in
Free access to the Sapphire Lounge network comes with four cards:
- Chase Sapphire Reserve: primary cardmembers and authorized users.
- J.P. Morgan Reserve: primary cardmembers and authorized users.
- The Ritz-Carlton Credit Card: primary cardmembers and authorized users.
- Sapphire Reserve for Business: primary cardmembers only. Employee cards do not get access.
The Sapphire Preferred card does not include lounge access, even though the lounges carry the Sapphire name.
What you need at the door
Bring your physical card or your Chase-issued digital Priority Pass Select membership. You also need a boarding pass for a flight leaving that day. Chase says entry is allowed up to three hours before departure, and the same three-hour rule applies at Priority Pass lounges.
Chase has enrolled eligible cardmembers in Priority Pass automatically since October 25, 2025. The digital card sits in the Chase Mobile app, under More and then Airport lounges.
Guest rules
Sapphire Reserve, J.P. Morgan Reserve and Ritz-Carlton cardmembers can bring up to two guests free. Each extra guest costs $27, according to Chase. Children under two are free, per Chase's DFW opening release.
Where the lounges are
Chase lists these open locations and daily hours:
| Airport | Hours |
|---|---|
| Boston | 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. |
| Dallas Fort Worth | 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. |
| New York JFK, with Etihad | 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., limited operations |
| Las Vegas | 4:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. |
| New York LaGuardia | 4:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. |
| Philadelphia | 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. |
| Phoenix | 4:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. |
| San Diego | 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. |
| Washington Dulles, Etihad Lounge | 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. |
Chase lists Los Angeles as coming soon. Our directory also lists a Sapphire Lounge in Hong Kong. The JFK lounge is marked as having temporarily limited operations, so check before you plan around it.
The newest one, at DFW, opened on July 16 by Gate D25 in Terminal D. Chase says it is 18,000 square feet across two levels, with showers, rest pods, Face Haus facials and a whiskey lounge.
Air Canada lounges too
Sapphire Reserve cardmembers can also use select Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounges and Air Canada Cafés when flying on any Star Alliance airline. That benefit allows one free guest, and extra guests cost 59 in the local currency. Some lounges are excluded, so check Chase's list before you go.
Reserve Suites at LaGuardia
At LaGuardia, Chase sells private Reserve Suites inside the lounge for a fee. They must be booked at least 72 hours ahead in the Chase Mobile app, and Chase says they are limited.
My take
The Sapphire Lounges are some of the best in the U.S., and the guest policy is still more generous than most. The three-hour rule is the one that trips people up. If you like to arrive very early, time your entry so you are not turned away at the desk.
