Two Priority Pass memberships: choose the right credential before the scan

A visit uses one membership. Check the guest allowance attached to that credential and the guest count recorded at the door.

Priority Pass says members with multiple memberships are responsible for presenting the correct access credential and may use only one membership per visit. The membership you show at the desk therefore matters when two cards provide different guest or visit allowances.

This is a useful response to a common travel discussion: a lounge visit that seemed free can produce a later guest charge. Start with the credential and recorded guest count rather than assuming that every Priority Pass membership attached to your name has the same benefits.

Identify the membership you intend to use

Before travel, compare the actual benefit terms supplied with each membership. Record the member allowance, guest allowance and any visit limit. Label the credentials in a way you can recognize without sharing the account or card details publicly.

Use our Priority Pass directory and the airport directory to explore locations. Our Australian Amex benefit-change story is a reminder that issuing country and card terms can matter. It should not be read as the benefit terms of a different account.

Agree on the group before reaching the desk

Count the travelers who will enter and identify which have their own valid memberships. Priority Pass advises members traveling together to show their own credentials and sign separately so they are not incorrectly treated as another member's guests.

Ask the desk to clarify the recorded guest count before confirming the visit. The conditions say the visit record does not necessarily show the per-person charge. A voucher without a price is therefore not proof that every guest was included free.

Our network-comparison guide shows why other lounge credentials need separate rules too. The United Club membership guide offers another example of guest rights changing with the access product.

Keep a record of the visit

Request the visit receipt at entry if you need a copy and retain it with the date, lounge and group details. Check the account afterward for any charge that does not match the membership terms or visit record. This keeps the question tied to a specific transaction instead of a general recollection of the trip.

Priority Pass directs payment questions to the program, card provider or relevant organization rather than the individual lounge. Follow the route for your membership and provide the requested details privately. Do not publish membership numbers or a receipt containing personal information in a discussion thread.

Check the room as well as the card

A correct credential still needs a suitable lounge in the terminal you can reach. Our Lima lounge story and the Lima airport directory connect the policy with an actual airport example. The Manchester opening story provides another location to explore using its current listing.

Check opening hours and the walk to boarding. Our gate-change guide helps keep the lounge visit within the flight plan. Do not turn a disputed guest allowance into a reason to rush across the airport.

Use the same care across the trip

Points Frog's program directory helps distinguish the rewards that fund a hotel or flight from the credential that opens a lounge. Cruise Frog's port directory can support the next ground journey.

The practical routine is short: choose the intended membership, confirm the guest count and keep the visit record. It gives you a better basis for understanding a later bill and avoids assuming that two cards automatically combine into one larger lounge allowance.
