SkyTeam-branded lounges are rare. The alliance only builds one where no member airline has a room of its own, so the list is short and the quality swings widely. Here is how the photographed ones rank.

Who gets into a SkyTeam Lounge

SkyTeam runs its own branded lounges at a few airports where no member airline has a room of its own. First and business class passengers on any SkyTeam flight get in, with no guest. SkyTeam Elite Plus members, which means Delta Diamond, Platinum and Gold Medallion, Flying Blue Gold and Platinum and their equivalents, get in with one guest when flying a SkyTeam airline that day. Most SkyTeam Lounges also admit Priority Pass members, with time limits and in some cases blackout hours. This list covers only lounges carrying the SkyTeam name, not the Air France, KLM or Delta rooms your status also unlocks.

Here is the honest caveat. We only rank lounges with a verified photo on file, and the best SkyTeam Lounges do not have one yet. Frankfurt's new Terminal 3 lounge is rated 4.9, and the São Paulo and Sydney lounges are both rated in the mid-4s. All three are missing photos. That leaves three photographed lounges, and they range from very good to rough.

1. SkyTeam Lounge, Santiago

The SkyTeam Lounge in Santiago is the one to seek out. It is on the first floor of Pier E in Terminal 2, reached by the elevator on Level 3, and it is open 24 hours with 154 seats, two showers and a full bar. Reviewers describe a sleek Andean look, and the scores back that up: food, drinks, service, quiet, seating, crowding, restrooms and views all score five. The catch is in the small print. The lounge admits only passengers on SkyTeam or SkyTeam codeshare flights, and that applies to Priority Pass and LoungeKey members too, who get a four-hour stay. If you are flying LATAM on a codeshare, you are in. On a non-SkyTeam ticket, you are not.

2. SkyTeam Lounge, Vancouver

The Vancouver lounge is near gate D53 in the west wing of Concourse D in the International Terminal, spanning two wings on the upper level, and it is open around the clock. It holds 100 and serves beer and wine but has no showers. A 2025 refresh helped the seating, coffee and Wi-Fi, which score four, but food, crowding, quiet, restrooms and service all sit at two. One reviewer called it tattered before the refresh. It is a place to wait for a Korean Air, Air France or KLM departure, not a place to arrive early for. Priority Pass works here.

3. SkyTeam Lounge, Dubai

The Dubai lounge opened in 2016 on the lounge level of Concourse D in Terminal 1, near the food court and opposite the DIH Lounge. It has 180 seats, three showers and a full bar, and is open from 2 a.m. to 8 p.m. Seating, restrooms and Wi-Fi score four, but coffee, drinks and workspace are a two. Priority Pass entry runs during opening hours with a four-hour cap. The showers are the reason to go in; the rest is a step down from the better Priority Pass rooms in the same concourse.

Which one to pick on a connection

Santiago is the easy one: if your ticket qualifies, use it, and the 24-hour opening makes it useful for overnight waits before the long-haul bank. In Vancouver, a Priority Pass also opens other lounges in the International Terminal, and one of those is often the better call. In Dubai, the SkyTeam Lounge closes at 8 p.m., so a late-evening SkyTeam departure will leave you looking for a Priority Pass alternative in Concourse D. Frankfurt is the lounge to watch; we will add it as soon as a photo is on file.
