The fine print, briefly
Workspace rates desks, quiet rooms and phone booths. At London Heathrow that score barely separates anyone: twelve open lounges take a 5, so overall rating decides the order and ties fall in the order we hold them. Our methodology has the rules. The Emirates Lounge, Heathrow's highest-rated room, misses the list on a 4 for workspace.
The five
Plaza Premium Lounge (T4) is first, workspace 5 and 4.9 overall. It opened in October 2024 opposite gates 10A and 10B on the lower floor of the old SkyTeam space, with a full bar and four showers. Only cleanliness, a 4, keeps it from a perfect card.
Plaza Premium Lounge (T5) matches it at 5 and 4.9. It opened in 2017 next to gate A7 in T5A, with a full bar and two showers. Drinks and food are its 4s.
American Airlines Admirals Club is third at 5 and 4.8, in the Lounge H zone of Terminal 3 with a full bar and four showers. It closes at 17:30.
British Airways Galleries Club B Gates, in the T5B satellite, renovated 2023 with two showers, is fourth at 4.8. The Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge in T2B, renovated 2024 with two showers, is fifth on the same score. The Centurion Lounge and the United Club post identical numbers and could just as easily hold those places.
Spread across four terminals
The five are split between T4, T5, T3 and T2, so your terminal picks for you. In T5 the choice is the Plaza Premium room in A or BA's club in B.
Getting into the T4 Plaza Premium
Priority Pass, LoungeKey, DragonPass and Plaza Premium members get in, with a two-hour cap for Priority Pass and possible peak restrictions. Walk-up entry is sold by the hour. See the 5 best lounges at LHR and the best lounges for workspace everywhere.
