Breeze Airways has added 22 routes and four new cities for 2027, with most of the growth aimed at Myrtle Beach. The airline's announcement on October 13 adds Boston, Buffalo, Latrobe in Pennsylvania and Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, and takes its network to 95 cities, according to AirlineGeeks' report on the Breeze release. Tickets are on sale now.

Myrtle Beach gets 11 new routes

Myrtle Beach is the big winner. Breeze is adding 11 nonstop routes there, which Business Traveller says will give it 25 Myrtle Beach destinations and about 70% more seats than in 2026. Airport officials expect Breeze to be the largest airline at Myrtle Beach by destinations and seats in the second quarter of 2027.

The new Myrtle Beach routes and start dates:

  • Boston, daily from May 4
  • Latrobe, Mondays and Fridays from February 9
  • Albany, Columbus and Stewart-Newburgh, Mondays and Fridays from May 28
  • Burlington, Portland (Maine) and Syracuse, Thursdays and Sundays from May 27
  • New Haven and Portsmouth (New Hampshire), Wednesdays and Saturdays from May 26
  • Buffalo, Thursdays and Sundays from July 1

Most are twice weekly. Boston is the only daily route. The push follows the shutdown of Spirit Airlines in May 2026. Business Traveller says Spirit had supplied about 23% of Myrtle Beach's seats in 2025.

Tampa adds Santo Domingo

From Tampa, Breeze will fly to Santo Domingo on Mondays and Fridays from June 18, 2027, year-round. It becomes Breeze's sixth international destination from Tampa, after Punta Cana, Nassau, San José, Cancún and Montego Bay.

Other new nonstops

  • Buffalo to Charleston (South Carolina), Mondays and Fridays from July 2
  • Buffalo to Raleigh-Durham, four times a week from June 29
  • Latrobe to Orlando, Wednesdays and Saturdays from May 26
  • Raleigh-Durham to Nassau, Wednesdays and Saturdays from June 30

Breeze is also selling six one-stop "BreezeThru" routings, where you stay on the same plane through a stop. They are Akron-Canton to Boston, Albany to Orlando, Burlington to Fort Lauderdale, Charleston (West Virginia) to Fort Lauderdale, Stewart-Newburgh to Fort Lauderdale and Portsmouth to Tampa.

All A220s now

Business Traveller reports that Breeze retired its last Embraer E190 in September. Every route now flies on the Airbus A220-300, which Business Traveller says seats 137 in Breeze's layout. That means the new routes get the same plane and cabin as the rest of the network.

No lounges, so plan around that

Breeze has no lounges and no lounge partners. Many of these new routes start or end at small airports with few or no lounges at all. If lounge time matters to you, look at the departure airport before you book. A Priority Pass card or a pay-per-visit lounge may be your only option, and often there is none.

My take

Breeze keeps finding the routes the big airlines skip, and this batch is a good example. Twice-weekly flights are fine for beach trips, but they leave you few options if something goes wrong. I would book the earlier flight of the week if your dates allow it, so a cancellation does not wreck the whole trip.
