Delta's summer 2027 Europe schedule gains two new routes: Detroit to Athens and Boston to Venice. They join the Austin–Paris flight the airline announced earlier, according to Delta's Sept. 25 announcement.
The new flights
Boston–Venice runs four times a week from May 7 through Oct. 29, 2027, on an Airbus A330-300 with Delta One, Premium Select, Comfort and Main. Delta is also making Boston–Milan daily next year. The airline says it will have up to 17 peak-day departures to Italy from the U.S.
Detroit–Athens runs three times a week from June 8 through Oct. 28, 2027, on an A330-200 with the same four cabins. It's the first nonstop between Detroit and Athens.
Austin–Paris starts daily on March 27, 2027, on an A330-900neo. Delta says it's the first nonstop ever between Austin and Paris.
Lounges on the U.S. side
- Boston: Delta's transatlantic flights leave from Terminal E. The Sky Club there has showers. Delta One passengers can go through it to the Delta One Lounge.
- Detroit: Concourse A has several Sky Clubs. The central Club is the one with showers, which matters before an overnight flight.
- Austin: There's a single Delta Sky Club.
Lounges on the European side
Paris is the easy one. Delta flights use Charles de Gaulle Terminal 2E, where Air France runs several SkyTeam lounges, including Hall L and Hall K.
For Athens and Venice, Delta hasn't said which lounge its passengers will use. In Venice, our directory lists the Marco Polo Club and an Aspire lounge, both reachable with Priority Pass. In Athens, the main options are Aegean's Star Alliance lounges and several Priority Pass lounges. We'll update this story when Delta confirms its arrangements.
A longer season
Delta is also stretching its European calendar in 2027:
- Rome flights from Minneapolis and Detroit start in early March, and Seattle–Rome starts in April.
- Several JFK routes return earlier: Catania, Porto, Prague and Copenhagen.
- Boston–Barcelona, Seattle–Barcelona and Atlanta–Edinburgh also return earlier.
- Cincinnati–Paris keeps flying three times a week from January through March.
