The year-round route puts Sedona and the Grand Canyon's South Rim within a short drive of a Delta hub, and Salt Lake City's two Sky Clubs give you somewhere to wait before you go.

Delta will start nonstop service between Salt Lake City and Flagstaff, Arizona, on June 7, 2027. The route runs twice daily, all year, according to Delta's Oct. 1 announcement.

SkyWest will fly it for Delta Connection on a CRJ-550, a regional jet Delta configures with a larger share of premium seats. From Flagstaff, Delta says Sedona is about 50 minutes by car and the Grand Canyon's South Rim about 90.

Part of a bigger push from SLC

Flagstaff is the third new western leisure route from Salt Lake City this year. Santa Rosa/Sonoma County starts Oct. 6, and Monterey follows on Dec. 19. Delta says it runs 270 peak-day departures from SLC, more than all other airlines at the airport combined.

Before you board

Salt Lake City has two Delta Sky Clubs. The Concourse B Club opened in 2025. At nearly 34,000 square feet and 600 seats, it's the second-largest in Delta's network, with airfield views and a wraparound bar. The Concourse A Club is smaller but has six showers, which helps if you're coming off a red-eye.

Check your gate before deciding which Club to head to, since the two concourses are a walk apart.
