IndiGo adds daily Pune–Bhubaneswar flights from October 25, with overnight timings

IndiGo plans to launch daily nonstop flights between Pune and Bhubaneswar on October 25, 2026. The airline's October 7 announcement specifies an Airbus A320 and a schedule that runs through the night.

The nonstop removes the need to change planes on this itinerary, but its timings deserve close attention. The Pune departure arrives after midnight, and the return from Bhubaneswar leaves in the early morning.

Read the date as well as the time

In the official release, flight 6E 6055 leaves Pune at 11:50 p.m. and reaches Bhubaneswar at 1:55 a.m. the following day. Flight 6E 0441 leaves Bhubaneswar at 2:35 a.m. and arrives in Pune at 4:40 a.m.

Both services are listed as daily, with all times local. The airline notes that the schedule is subject to regulatory approvals.

The two published flight times are each two hours and five minutes. That is the scheduled time between departure and arrival, rather than the full time needed for a trip from one city address to another.

A passenger leaving Pune on a Friday night should arrange onward transport in Bhubaneswar for Saturday morning. For the 2:35 a.m. return, confirm which calendar date appears on the ticket before booking a car or a hotel night.

What changes in the network

IndiGo says adding Pune brings the number of destinations it serves from Bhubaneswar to 15. The release presents the route as useful for professionals, students, businesses and social travel between the two cities.

It does not provide a launch fare, a seat map or a full list of cabin services. The A320 description alone is not a basis for assuming a particular seat selection or checked-bag allowance.

Bookings are offered through IndiGo's website, app and authorized travel partners. Use the final reservation to confirm the schedule and the conditions attached to the fare.

The route follows other network additions, including the airline's new Udaipur links from Noida and Navi Mumbai. Those services have separate start dates and should not be read as part of the Pune timetable.

An overnight lounge plan needs a time check

Lounge Frog lists the Elysian Lounge on Pune's ground floor, a separate first-floor Elysian listing and the O'Vetra Domestic Lounge in Bhubaneswar.

These are starting points for checking facilities, not a promise that a room will admit you for the whole wait. Verify current hours, maximum stay and the access method supplied by your card or membership.

For Bhubaneswar, the directory identifies Terminal 1. Pune's guide includes the New Integrated Terminal building. Match the lounge's location to the terminal shown for your departure.

Compare the complete overnight journey

A nonstop can be attractive even when it leaves late, particularly if the alternative adds a connection. Balance that saving against transport at the destination and the effect on the next day's plans.

Ask a hotel whether an arrival around 2 a.m. requires booking the previous night. Do not assume that an early-morning arrival will come with access to a room reserved for that afternoon.

Before departure, check the flight status and the latest schedule. The new route adds a direct option; the practical benefit depends on whether its overnight timing fits the rest of your trip.
