The last credit cards that still include Priority Pass restaurant credits
Amex, Chase, Capital One, Citi and Bilt have all dropped the $28 restaurant credit. A handful of cards still carry it. Here is the full list, and what the credit is worth in 2026.

For a few years the best thing about Priority Pass was not a lounge. It was walking into a decent airport restaurant, handing over a card, and having $28 a head taken off the bill, no questions asked, for you and a guest. At airports with no lounge worth the name, which is most of them, the restaurant credit was the benefit. Then, one issuer at a time, it disappeared from the cards most people hold.
This is the state of it in October 2026: who cut it, who kept it, and whether the cards that kept it are worth having for that reason.
How the credit works, where it still exists
Priority Pass calls them "non-lounge experiences": restaurants, cafés, a few bars, spas and the Minute Suites hour. At a participating US restaurant the credit is $28 per person, occasionally $30, applied to food and drink but not tip, and a guest doubles it. Each use counts as a visit on membership tiers that count visits. In the UK the credit is £18 a head across thirty-odd restaurants at Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted, City and Manchester. In Australia it is A$36.
The restaurants are generally the good ones. Priority Pass partnered with sit-down places that had spare capacity in the lulls, which means the credit tends to be usable at exactly the hours a lounge is turning people away.
The cards that dropped it, in order
- August 1, 2019: every American Express card. Platinum, Business Platinum, Centurion, Hilton Aspire, Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant, the lot. Amex-issued Priority Pass has been lounges-only for seven years, and Amex cardholders are the ones most often surprised at the restaurant desk.
- January 1, 2023: Capital One Venture X. The personal card lost restaurants, spas and Minute Suites.
- July 1, 2024: Chase Sapphire Reserve, Ritz-Carlton and J.P. Morgan Reserve. Chase announced it in March 2024. Some 2026 roundups give this date as 2025; the contemporaneous reporting is clear that it was 2024.
- October 31, 2025: Capital One Venture X Business. The last Capital One card with the benefit.
- Never had it: Citi Strata Elite and Bilt Palladium. Both launched lounges-only. On May 12, 2026, restaurants briefly appeared in both cards' Priority Pass accounts; Bilt's Richard Kerr confirmed within hours it was a Priority Pass error and it was reversed the same day. It was not a soft launch.
If you hold any of those, the restaurant credit is gone and it is not coming back. The issuers removed it because it was popular, which is the sad logic of most benefit cuts: a $28 credit used by a million cardholders twice a year is a real line item, and lounges, which are capacity-limited and often full, are cheaper to promise.
The cards that still include it
This list is short, and most of the entries are either closed to new applicants, capped at a few visits, or issued by banks you have not thought about.
Bank of America Premium Rewards Elite, $550. Unlimited Priority Pass with restaurants included, and the only widely available premium card that still has the full benefit. If the restaurant credit matters to you, this is the card, and the rest of its benefits (a $300 airline incidental credit, $150 lifestyle credit, Preferred Rewards bonuses for BofA customers) are respectable without being exciting.
U.S. Bank Altitude Reserve, $400. Restaurants included, but Priority Pass is capped at eight visits a year, and the card closed to new applicants. If you have it, keep it.
Citi Prestige, $495. Full restaurant access, closed to new applicants since 2021. Existing holders keep both the card and the benefit.
U.S. Bank Altitude Connect (no fee after year one) and Business Altitude Connect: four Priority Pass visits a year, restaurants included. Four restaurant credits at $28 is $112 of value on a no-fee card, which is not nothing.
U.S. Bank SKYPASS Select Visa: four visits, restaurants included.
Atlantic Union Bank Visa Signature Travel Rewards+: sources disagree between four and eight visits. Restaurants included.
Barclays JetBlue Premier World Elite and Barclays Emirates Skywards Premium World Elite: Priority Pass with restaurants.
HSBC Elite and Premier World Elite Mastercard, UBS Visa Infinite, and the Luxury Card trio (Mastercard Black, Gold, Titanium): all include it, all aimed at private-banking clients or people who want a metal card for its own sake.
That is the whole list as far as we can establish. If you know of one we have missed, tell us.
Outside the US
The picture is better abroad. Direct Priority Pass memberships, bought from Priority Pass itself at $99, $329 or $469, include restaurants everywhere they exist, which is one of the few arguments for paying for the membership rather than getting it through a card. In the UK, Lloyds World Elite, HSBC Premier World Elite and Capital on Tap Pro carry the full restaurant network; Amex UK Platinum and Gold are limited to two restaurants, PizzaExpress at Gatwick South and Juniper & Co at City. Canada is thin: Amex Canada removed restaurants in 2019 and we have found no Canadian card that includes them. In Australia, Westpac Altitude Black, St.George Amplify, BOQ Specialist and the MyCard Premier and Prestige cards keep the A$36 credit, while Amex Australia cardholders are excluded.
Is it worth chasing?
Probably not on its own. The restaurant network in the US has shrunk alongside the card list; participating restaurants come and go, and at the big hubs the credit now covers a handful of places rather than a dozen. At DFW, for instance, the single remaining credit is Drew Pearson's Sports 88 in Terminal E, near the Plaza Premium Lounge. Our Priority Pass restaurants list tracks what is left airport by airport.
If you already hold a Bank of America Premium Rewards Elite or one of the closed cards, use the credit; it is a free lunch in the literal sense. If you are choosing a new card, pick on lounges and guests, because that is where the money is, and treat a restaurant credit as a tiebreaker. The lounges that Priority Pass still opens for everyone, Wingtips at JFK at 4.9, The Club ATL at 4.7, The Club LAS (E) at 4.8, Plaza Premium Heathrow T4 at 4.9, are a better reason to hold the membership than a sandwich ever was.
