Changi's best coffee is mostly behind a Priority Pass, not an airline door. The coffee score rewards barista-made cups over push-button machines, and ten open lounges at Singapore Changi earn the top mark of 5. Overall rating sorts them, and equal scores sit in the order we hold them, per our methodology.

The Blossom Lounge, Changi's highest-rated room at 4.9, is missing here. Its coffee scores a 4.

Four lounges, one score

Ambassador Transit Lounge (T3) is first, coffee 5 and 4.8 overall. It opened in 2008 on Level 3 of the Terminal 3 transit hall next to the movie theatre, runs 24 hours, and has a full bar and six showers.

Cathay Pacific Lounge (T4) is second on the same numbers, rated on thirteen metrics. It opened in 2017 on the Terminal 4 mezzanine and was renovated in 2023; the bar is self-serve and there are no showers. Hours track Cathay's Hong Kong departures.

Plaza Premium Lounge (T1) is third, again 5 and 4.8. It opened in 2013 directly above gate C1 in Terminal 1, is open around the clock, and has a full bar and six showers.

SATS Premier Lounge (T3), renovated in 2024 with a full bar and four showers, is fourth at 4.8. Ambassador Transit Lounge (T2) takes fifth at 4.7 overall; Marhaba Lounge (T1), the Qantas Singapore First Lounge and the SilverKris Business Lounge (T3) match it.

One in every terminal

The five cover Terminals 1 through 4, and the three pay-in lounges all run 24 hours. If you are in Terminal 3 you have the top pick and the SATS lounge on the same level.

Getting into the T3 Ambassador lounge

Priority Pass, LoungeKey and DragonPass members get in per their card's allowance, and day passes are sold when space allows. See the 5 best lounges at SIN and the best lounges for coffee everywhere.
