Air France will add two U.S. cities next summer. Nonstop flights from Paris to San Diego start May 3, 2027, and Paris to Nashville follows on May 14, the airline said in its Oct. 8 announcement.
Both routes leave from Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG). Each runs three times a week on the Airbus A350-900. Air France says it has never flown to either city before. Tickets go on sale Oct. 14 at airfrance.com. With the two additions, the airline will serve 20 U.S. destinations in summer 2027.
The schedule
Both routes fly on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. All times are local.
| Flight | Route | Departs | Arrives |
|---|---|---|---|
| AF058 | Paris (CDG) – San Diego (SAN) | 10:10 | 12:50 |
| AF059 | San Diego (SAN) – Paris (CDG) | 15:10 | 11:05 next day |
| AF046 | Paris (CDG) – Nashville (BNA) | 14:10 | 16:40 |
| AF047 | Nashville (BNA) – Paris (CDG) | 18:55 | 10:15 next day |
The Nashville flight number has a story. Air France says AF046 is a tribute to Dolly Parton, a nod to 1946, the year she was born.
Air France says it will be the only airline flying nonstop from Paris to either city. It also says it will be the only airline linking Nashville with continental Europe. San Diego already has one link to Europe through Air France's sister airline KLM, which flies there from Amsterdam up to three times a week.
What we don't know yet
The release names the aircraft but not the cabins or seat counts. It does not say how long the routes will run past the summer season, which Air France defines as April to October. It also does not say which terminals, gates or lounges the flights will use at either U.S. airport. We will update this story when Air France shares more.
Before you leave Paris
The release does not name a terminal at CDG. Air France's long-haul lounges for flights outside the Schengen area are all in Terminal 2E in our directory, one in each of Halls K, L and M. All three are open to Air France Lounge guests and to SkyTeam Elite Plus members. Business class passengers can't bring a guest. Flying Blue Ultimate members can bring up to eight, and Platinum, Gold and SkyTeam Elite Plus members can bring one, as long as the guest flies with them.
- Air France Lounge (2E, Hall L) is the top-rated lounge at the airport on Lounge Frog, at 4.9. It seats about 500 and has 10 showers and a Clarins spa. It opens 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
- Air France Lounge (2E, Hall K) rates 4.7. It was rebuilt in 2025 and now covers more than 2,800 square meters over three levels, with six showers and a private area for Flying Blue Ultimate members.
- Air France Lounge (2E, Hall M) rates 4.6 and has eight showers. Note its hours: our listing has it closing at 5 p.m. Both new departures leave Paris well before then.
Travelers in first class on other routes can read about the redesigned La Première lounge. Air France also changed its long-haul food this month, with new menus from six French chefs. See every option on our Paris-CDG page.
Lounges in Nashville
Lounge Frog lists three lounges at Nashville International. Only one is a SkyTeam lounge.
The Delta Sky Club sits at the start of Concourse B, next to gate B3, just past security. It rates 4.2, seats about 200, has a full bar and no showers. Our listing shows SkyTeam Elite Plus access. It does not sell day passes.
Timing is the catch. The club closes at 7:15 p.m. Sunday to Friday, and the flight home to Paris leaves at 6:55 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. That leaves room for a drink before boarding, but not a late arrival. Air France has not said which concourse it will use.
The other two options suit other travelers. The Admirals Club on Concourse C, rated 4.0, is for American and oneworld flyers and some Citi cardholders. Minute Suites on Concourse D offers private nap rooms, with one free hour for Priority Pass members. Our users rate it 1.2.
Lounges in San Diego
Lounge Frog lists five lounges at San Diego International, all in Terminal 2. One, the Admirals Club, is marked closed.
- Delta Sky Club: Terminal 2 West, on the mezzanine between gates 47 and 48. It rates 3.9, seats about 100, and opens 4:45 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. Our listing shows SkyTeam Elite Plus access.
- Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club: next door, between gates 46 and 47, and the best-rated lounge at SAN at 4.6. It has a cocktail bar and one shower. It is mainly for Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders. Rules for other Priority Pass members have shifted this year, so check before you go.
- Aspire Lounge: Terminal 2 East near gate 23, rated 4.2. It takes Priority Pass, LoungeKey and DragonPass and has one shower. It sits past the east checkpoint, so it may not be handy for a west-side gate.
- United Club: rated 4.5, for United and Star Alliance travelers.

Our take
These are thin schedules, three flights a week each way, so expect them to fill fast in summer. The Paris end is the easy part, with three strong lounges in 2E. In Nashville, the Sky Club is close to security but shuts soon after the Paris flight leaves, so plan to arrive early.
