ANA's winter timetable starts on Oct. 25, and it brings more international flying than last year. The airline's parent, ANA Holdings, laid out the plan in its schedule release of Aug. 18. It covers Oct. 25, 2026, to March 27, 2027. ANA says it will run 4% more international flights than in the same period a year earlier.

For premium travelers, three things stand out: daily flights to Mumbai, a move to daily flights to Milan, and the first Boeing 787-9s with ANA's new business class seat.

More flights to India, Italy and Southeast Asia

ANA says its Tokyo Narita–Mumbai route will run daily through the winter. That timing suits the season. ANA notes that this half of the year is the peak for visitors heading to Japan.

Flights from Narita to Bangkok and to Singapore also get more frequencies. The release text does not say how many flights each route adds.

The Tokyo Haneda–Milan route will go daily at some point in the second half of ANA's fiscal year, which runs through March. ANA says it will announce the start date and open ticket sales later. Until then, check the schedule before you plan around a daily Milan flight.

ANA also says it will match aircraft size to demand on European routes through the winter, by swapping aircraft types by season. That means the plane on your route may change from one month to the next. If you care about a specific seat, check the aircraft type when you book and again before you fly.

One route with a moving schedule is Narita–Honolulu on flights NH182 and NH181. These switch between three flights a week and daily service at set times. ANA's table shows daily service from Nov. 6 to Nov. 20, from Dec. 17 to Jan. 10, and from March 19 to March 26. In between, the flights run three times a week, on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The three-weekly pattern also applies from Oct. 25 to Nov. 5 and from Jan. 11 to March 18.

New business class seats from November

The bigger change for frequent flyers is on board. ANA says it will start taking delivery of new Boeing 787-9s from November 2026. They come with THE Room FX, the airline's new business class seat, plus new premium economy and economy seats.

ANA first showed the seat at the Paris Air Show in June 2025. In an ANA Group Stories post, the airline says THE Room FX is 4 inches wider than the seat it replaces, and that each seat is a fully enclosed room with a door. ANA designed the seat with Safran, and the economy seats with RECARO.

The other cabins change too. ANA says the new premium economy seat has about 2 inches more pitch than before and reclines further. In economy, the airline says it has added about 1 inch of knee room and made the seat recline 1.5 times as far as the current one.

ANA has not yet said which routes the new 787-9s will fly or from what date. It says it will name them once they are set. With Mumbai going daily and Milan on the way, both are candidates, but that is our reading, not ANA's.

Changes at home

Inside Japan, ANA plans 1% more flights. From Oct. 25 it is adding frequencies from Osaka Itami to Sapporo, Hakodate and Okinawa. New Boeing 737-8 jets start arriving in October.

There is also an unusual step between rivals. ANA and Japan Airlines have planned their Haneda–Okayama timetables together. The aim, ANA says, is a convenient timetable across both airlines. ANA says this follows a government panel on keeping Japan's domestic air network alive. Japan has since issued guidelines that exempt some coordination between airlines from antimonopoly rules. ANA says it may cooperate more with rivals in the future.

ANA's low-cost carrier, Peach, is growing faster. It plans 9% more international flights and 10% more domestic flights. Its Narita–Seoul Incheon route, which was due to launch on Sept. 20, will run daily through the winter.

Where to wait before you fly

ANA's international flights leave from Narita and Haneda, and its flagship lounges are at its Tokyo hubs. At Haneda Terminal 3, the ANA Lounge near gate 110 has 12 showers and rates 4.8 out of 5 with our members. Our listing says business class passengers get in without guests, while ANA Platinum and Diamond members and Star Alliance Gold members can bring one guest on a Star Alliance flight the same day. It opens at 5 a.m. and closes after the last ANA Group departure. First class passengers and ANA's top elites get the ANA Suite Lounge, which has six showers and a craft cocktail bar.

At Narita, the ANA Suite Lounge also rates 4.8 and has a craft cocktail bar. The ANA Lounge in Terminal 1's satellite 2 is the business class and Star Alliance Gold option.

At the far end, lounge choices are thinner. In Mumbai, our airport page lists Adani lounges that take Priority Pass, and the Air India lounge listing there is marked closed or unconfirmed. At Milan Malpensa, Star Alliance Gold members and business class passengers can use the Lufthansa Lounge, which rates 4.2. See every option on our Narita, Haneda and Milan Malpensa pages, and more on our ANA page.
