Priority Pass on your phone: a photo of the card is not a valid backup
Priority Pass distinguishes its accepted digital credential from a photograph or typed card number. Prepare access before the airport connection is needed.

Priority Pass's current conditions say a photograph of an access credential or the provision of its card number is not an accepted substitute for the valid credential. A saved picture of a card should not be confused with the program's accepted Digital Membership Card.
That distinction matters when a phone, login or airport connection fails at the desk. Prepare the valid method of access for the location before leaving home, then keep a realistic backup that follows the program's instructions.
Open the actual digital credential
Check the membership's current status and locate the accepted digital card through the official account or app. Confirm that it belongs to the membership you intend to use. Do not rely on an old screenshot that may omit the information needed to validate access.
Use our Priority Pass directory to explore locations and the airport directory to connect them with the itinerary. The listing and credential answer different questions: where you might visit and how the program verifies admission.
Check the method accepted by the location
Priority Pass's conditions say some locations cannot accept a payment card as the access method and require the program's physical or digital membership card instead. Read the current location instructions before assuming that the bank card alone will open the room.
If the membership includes a physical card, check whether it remains valid and is the right credential for the trip. Ask the issuer or program about a replacement if needed. A printed card number is not a substitute for the accepted method described in the conditions.
Our Admirals Club preparation guide covers a similar planning problem under another operator's rules. The United Club and Polaris guide shows why the exact credential should be linked with the exact lounge door.
Prepare the phone for the journey
Charge the device and keep the charging cable accessible. Open the app before travel to resolve an unexpected sign-in prompt while you still have time. Follow its current instructions for using a digital credential rather than assuming it works offline in every situation.
Keep account recovery details private and use the official support route if access fails. A lounge membership problem is not a reason to post a full card image, password or account number publicly when asking for help.
Our device-and-document planning guide helps keep the rest of the trip accessible. The overnight-layover guide adds another reason to plan ahead: a room may close even when a credential remains valid.
Match the credential with the visit
Check the departure terminal, room hours and walk back to boarding. Our Lima lounge story and the Lima airport directory provide one airport example. The current location listing still needs to match your actual route.
If several memberships are available, identify the one whose guest and visit terms you want to use. Do that before the scan so the right access method is presented. Preparing a valid card does not remove the need to check the membership's benefits.
Keep the rest of travel accessible
Points Frog's transfer-preparation guide offers the same distinction between an account you can access and a travel booking you have completed. Cruise Frog's port directory can support the next leg of the route.
Finish with a valid credential, the required travel documents and a practical waiting option if the visit cannot be completed. The strongest backup is one the program actually accepts, rather than a photograph that merely looks like the card.
