Who gets into a Turkish Airlines lounge
A Turkish Airlines business class ticket gets you in, with no guest. Miles&Smiles Elite and Elite Plus members and Star Alliance Gold members get in with one guest when flying any Star Alliance airline the same day. In Istanbul the airline splits its flyers across two huge lounges: business passengers use the Lounge Business, and status holders use the Lounge Miles&Smiles. Several of the US lounges also sell entry through Priority Pass, which makes them some of the best Priority Pass rooms in the country.
We ranked every open Turkish Airlines lounge with a photo on file. The Istanbul Domestic Business Lounge, rated 4.6, has no photo yet, and neither do the Edinburgh lounge or the domestic Miles&Smiles room, so they are left out.
1. Turkish Airlines Lounge Business, Istanbul
The Turkish Airlines Lounge Business is the highest-scoring lounge in the network, with a five on every metric but workspace. It is up the escalators opposite gate E1, open around the clock, with 765 seats and 20 showers, and it scores five for food, coffee, quiet and crowding even at its busiest. The bar is self-serve, which is the only thing a critic could find. On a long connection, book a shower and plan a meal.
2. Turkish Airlines Lounge (Concourse H/J), Miami
The Miami H/J lounge is a surprise: a 100-seat room on level 3 of the South Terminal, reached by the elevator lobby midway along the H to J connector, open 24 hours. Food, drinks, coffee, service, seating and views all score five. It takes Priority Pass and LoungeKey with no guest cap, up to three hours before departure, which is why it fills at peak times.
3. Turkish Airlines Lounge Miles&Smiles, Istanbul
The Lounge Miles&Smiles is the status lounge, up the escalators opposite gate C1, also open 24 hours. It holds 800 and has ten showers, and it scores five for quiet, crowding, seating and restrooms. Food and drinks are a notch below the Business lounge. If you have both a business ticket and status, use the Business lounge.
4. Turkish Airlines Lounge, Washington Dulles
The Dulles lounge is on Concourse B next to gate B43, a 150-seat room with a full bar and one shower, open 7:15 a.m. to 9:15 p.m. Quiet, crowding, drinks and restrooms score five, but food, coffee and service sit at three. Priority Pass and DragonPass members get in with a three-hour limit, and walk-in passes are sold.
5. Turkish Airlines Lounge, Tokyo Narita
Opened in 2025, the Narita lounge took over the old ANA space on the 4th floor of satellite 4 in Terminal 1, near gate 47. It has 105 seats and three showers and is open 7:30 a.m. to 9:45 p.m. Views score five, food only three, and our rating rests on just three metrics so far.
6. Turkish Airlines Lounge (Concourse E), Miami
The Concourse E lounge is the older of the two Miami rooms, up the escalator just past the Concourse E checkpoint, with 120 seats, two showers and a full bar. It is open 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Restrooms, views, Wi-Fi and workspace score five, but cleanliness, coffee and service are a three. Priority Pass works here too with a three-hour limit.
7. Turkish Airlines Lounge, New York JFK
The JFK lounge sits one level up between gates 2 and 3 in Terminal 1, open 9 a.m. to midnight. Food, coffee, drinks and service all score five, but quiet, crowding and power are a three. It is slated to move to the New Terminal One, so this score has a shelf life.
8. Turkish Airlines Lounge, Bangkok
The Bangkok lounge is on Level 3 of Concourse D at Suvarnabhumi, with a full bar but no showers. Restrooms score five and coffee a two. Our rating is editorial and based on published facilities and reviews rather than a visit. Star Alliance Gold members get in only on a same-day Turkish Airlines flight.
Which one to pick on a connection
In Istanbul the choice is made for you by your ticket, and both lounges are open 24 hours, so a long overnight connection is no problem. In Miami, the H/J lounge is the better room, but it is also the busier one because of Priority Pass; the Concourse E lounge is a reasonable fallback if your gate is on the D or E side. In New York, eat in the lounge but do not expect to work in peace.
