Who gets into an Air France or KLM lounge

Air France and KLM run one lounge network under two names. A business class ticket on either airline gets you in, but not the cheaper Business Light fare. Flying Blue Gold, Platinum and Ultimate members get in on any SkyTeam flight, as do SkyTeam Elite Plus members. Business passengers cannot bring a guest. Gold and Platinum members can bring one, and Ultimate members up to eight in Paris. A few outstation lounges also take Priority Pass.

We ranked every open lounge with a photo on file by its overall score. The two Orly lounges and Munich are not yet photographed, so they sit this one out.

1. Air France Lounge (2E, Hall L), Paris

The Air France Lounge (2E, Hall L) is the one reviewers compare to an ocean liner. It sits in satellite 3 of Terminal 2E, reached by the automated shuttle, and it is open from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. It holds about 500 people, has ten showers and a Clarins spa, and scores five on food, coffee, quiet and crowding.

2. Air France La Première Lounge, Paris

The La Première Lounge is the exception to every access rule above. Only passengers holding a La Première ticket get in, and one guest on the same flight if space allows. The 2026 rebuild stretched it past 1,000 square meters, with an Alain Ducasse dining room, six nap rooms, a Sisley spa and four showers for about 40 guests.

3. Air France Lounge (2E, Hall K), Paris

The Hall K lounge is the big one in the main 2E building. After a 2025 expansion it runs to more than 2,800 square meters over three levels and seats 638, with six showers, a Clarins treatment area and a private Ultimate section with runway views.

4. Air France Lounge (2E, Hall M), Paris

Satellite 4 holds the Hall M lounge, which French reviewers rate as the best-looking of the Paris set, with eight showers and room for 400. Watch the clock, though. It closes at 5 p.m.

5. KLM Crown Lounge 25, Amsterdam

KLM Crown Lounge 25 is the Schengen lounge at Schiphol, on the upper level of Lounge 1 between Piers C and D. It opens at 4:45 a.m., holds 500, and has two showers. Food, coffee, drinks and service all score five, and it is calmer than its non-Schengen sibling.

6. Air France-KLM Lounge, Montreal

The Air France-KLM Lounge in Montreal is a 149-seat room with tarmac views, up the elevator near gate 57 in the international jetty. It has three showers and a full bar, and card members can use it outside the 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. rush.

7. KLM Crown Lounge 52, Amsterdam

KLM Crown Lounge 52 is the flagship: 1,100 seats, 20 showers, a rooftop bar and a full bar inside, in the non-Schengen area near Pier F. It opened in 2019 and runs from 4:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. Pick Lounge 52 for a drink and a view, and Lounge 25 for quiet.

8. Air France Lounge (2F), Paris

The two-level Air France Lounge in 2F is the Schengen hub lounge, rebuilt in 2021 with 570 seats and ten showers. The design draws praise, and quiet and seating score five. Coffee and restrooms drag the score down to 4.2.

9. Air France Lounge, London Heathrow

Opened in July 2026, the Air France Lounge at Heathrow is the airline's first own-brand London lounge in 17 years. It sits on level 3 of Terminal 4 near gate 6, with a staffed bar pouring Laurent-Perrier, a 60-seat dining area, a nap zone, two showers and a Clarins spa with free 15-minute weekday treatments. Hours are 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.

10. Air France Lounge, New York JFK

The Air France Lounge at JFK is in Terminal 1 near gate 1, up the escalator on level 3. It holds 150, has two showers and a beer-and-wine bar, and is a Priority Pass lounge. Hours vary by day, opening at noon on some days and 7 a.m. on others, and a much larger replacement is due in the New Terminal One in 2027.

11. Air France Lounge, Frankfurt

The Air France Lounge in Frankfurt opened in September 2026 as the first Schengen lounge in the new Terminal 3. It is a 120-seat room with runway views, no showers and a beer-and-wine selection, open from 5 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., with a separate area for Ultimate members.

12. Air France-KLM Sky Lounge, Bangkok

The Air France-KLM Sky Lounge at Suvarnabhumi is a shared SkyTeam room in Concourse F near gate F3, also used by Korean Air passengers. It is self-serve with no showers, and reviews call it fine.

Which one to pick on a connection

In Paris, the lounge follows your gate, so check whether you leave from K, L or M. Hall L and Hall K are the strongest, and Hall M closes early. In Amsterdam, Schengen flyers get Lounge 25 and everyone else gets Lounge 52. At JFK, check the hours before you plan on breakfast there.
