Air France opened a new lounge on Sept. 1 in Frankfurt's Terminal 3, which itself opened in April, according to Air France's announcement. Global Lounge Network runs it on the airline's behalf.
The basics
- Hours: daily, 5:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- Size: nearly 500 square meters with about 120 seats, overlooking the runways
- Who gets in: Air France Business passengers (except Business Light), Flying Blue Elite Plus members, and eligible KLM and SkyTeam customers
- Food and drink: an open-kitchen dining area seating about 50, a menu that changes through the day with vegetarian options, French wines and Champagne, and local beers
- Other spaces: a quiet room, a work area with a soundproof phone booth, and automated entry kiosks
- For top-tier members: a cocoon-seating area reserved for Flying Blue Ultimate members
The furniture includes pieces by French designers Pierre Paulin and Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec.
Worth knowing
This is a lounge for short-haul flyers. Air France runs up to five daily Frankfurt–Paris flights, and most passengers will be connecting at Charles de Gaulle. If you have time at CDG, the Hall L lounge in 2E is one of the best-rated in our directory.
