Air France and SNCF Voyageurs have expanded Train + Air to all OUIGO trains serving Paris-Charles de Gaulle. The September 21, 2026 announcement adds more rail choices to an offer that combines a train journey and an Air France flight in one booking.

For travelers outside Paris, the main benefit is the connection arrangement. A separately purchased train ticket and an airline ticket do not necessarily offer the same protection as an integrated journey.

What the new announcement says

The partners' September announcement extends the offer across the OUIGO network connected to CDG. Earlier OUIGO integration had covered Aix-en-Provence, Avignon and Marseille.

Train + Air provides a single booking and rebooking on the next available train or flight at no additional cost after a delay or cancellation, according to the partners. Air France also reports a 43% rise in use of the service over the preceding six months compared with 2025.

The earlier partnership announcement set a target of 27 French stations connected to CDG by September 2026. That number describes the wider offer; it is not a claim that every station has every OUIGO departure available in a combined booking.

Search the whole journey

Start your search with the station where you want to begin, rather than buying the flight first and adding rail later. Check which integrated options appear for your dates and destination.

Our advice is to compare the complete journey with other ways of reaching the airport. Include the train departure time, the connection interval, the flight schedule and the return trip.

A lower headline price is useful only if the journey fits your plans. An early train may require a hotel or taxi before departure; a late return may create another overnight stay. Those costs belong in the comparison.

Read the connection terms

The published rebooking promise is the central reason to look at Train + Air. Keep the booking confirmation and instructions together so you know how to handle the rail and flight portions.

Before paying, review the exact journey offered. Check luggage arrangements, station arrival guidance and the documents needed for each segment. Do not assume that a combined reservation makes every part of the airport process identical.

If something changes, contact the service identified in your booking. Buying a replacement train or flight before establishing the rebooking options can make a disruption more expensive than necessary.

Plan the airport portion separately

An integrated rail ticket gets you to the hub; it does not itself establish lounge access. That still depends on your flight fare, airline status, cards or lounge memberships.

At Paris-CDG, check the departure terminal and where the relevant lounge sits. Allow time for the journey from the station, check-in if needed, security and boarding.

The airport's planned terminal renaming is also worth knowing if your trip is in March 2027 or later. Match directions to the travel date.

A useful alternative to a positioning flight

For some regional travelers, a train can be a practical way to reach a long-haul departure without adding another flight. The strongest case is an itinerary with convenient rail times and a manageable airport connection.

Check availability through Air France or a participating travel agency. Choose the integrated option for its full journey and stated protection, rather than assuming any OUIGO ticket can later be attached to a flight.
