Lounges

JFK has the most Priority Pass lounges of any US airport in our data. Atlanta has just two

We counted Priority Pass lounges at US airports in Lounge Frog's directory. JFK leads with eight, many come with time windows, and several big hubs have none.

Priority Pass is the lounge network that comes with many premium credit cards. But how many of its lounges can you actually use in the United States? We counted using Lounge Frog's own directory, which lists 839 Priority Pass locations at 410 airports around the world.

Only 86 of them are at 43 US airports, including San Juan, Puerto Rico. And the leaderboard holds a few surprises, starting with the country's busiest airport.

How We Counted

We used the Priority Pass listings on Lounge Frog's Priority Pass program page as of Oct. 25, 2026. Our directory does not include every airport, and Priority Pass changes its network often, so treat these as counts in our data, not an official tally. Always check the Priority Pass app before you fly.

We also split out Minute Suites. These private nap rooms are on Priority Pass, but they are not full lounges, and you usually get one hour. Many credit cards, including all American Express cards and the Capital One Venture X, offer lounge-only memberships that exclude them.

The Top US Airports

Ranked by Priority Pass lounges, not counting Minute Suites:

  1. New York JFK: 8 lounges (10 listings including two Minute Suites)
  2. San Francisco SFO: 5 lounges
  3. Washington Dulles, Orlando, Miami, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Chicago O'Hare and San Juan: 3 lounges each
  4. Atlanta and Dallas/Fort Worth: 2 lounges each (plus Minute Suites)

JFK wins easily, mostly because so many foreign airlines open their lounges to Priority Pass in Terminals 1 and 4. The list includes the Air France, Korean Air, Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines and Air India lounges, the VIP One Lounge, the Primeclass Lounge and the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse.

The Catch: Time Windows

A high count does not mean you can walk in any time. Many airline lounges admit Priority Pass members only when their own flights are not boarding. In our data:

  • Korean Air Lounge (JFK): Priority Pass from 9:30 p.m. to 12:50 a.m. only
  • Lufthansa Business Lounge (JFK): Tuesday and Wednesday evenings only, with a three-hour limit
  • Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse (JFK): Priority Pass from 5 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. only, with a $15 shower fee
  • Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse (SFO): set windows, a three-hour limit and capacity controls
  • Air France and KLM lounges (Houston): may turn members away in the busy midday hours

The Primeclass Lounge at JFK is the best bet for longer hours. It is rated 4.8 out of 5 on Lounge Frog and has two showers.

Atlanta's Surprise

Atlanta is the busiest airport in the US, but our data shows only two Priority Pass lounges there, both in Concourse F: The Club ATL, rated 4.7, and Poppin, rated 2.0. The other three Atlanta listings are Minute Suites. If your gate is in another concourse, allow extra time to get there and back.

Charlotte is similar. Of its three listings, two are Minute Suites, leaving The Club CLT as the only full lounge.

Big Airports With None in Our Data

Some major hubs have no Priority Pass lounge listed in our directory at all, including:

Los Angeles has only one: the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at Tom Bradley International, which our data says comes with an extra fee and capacity limits. Newark's only listing is a Minute Suites in Terminal C.

The Workhorses: The Club and Escape

Outside the big international gateways, two independent brands carry most of the US network. The Club lounges show up at Las Vegas, Seattle, Orlando, Charlotte, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, San Jose, New Orleans and more. Escape Lounges show up at Minneapolis, Portland, Phoenix, Kansas City, Columbus, Sacramento and other mid-size airports. Priority Pass named Portland's Escape Lounge the world's best lounge for 2026.

Many of these lounges are marked "subject to capacity," so arrive early on busy mornings.

What It Means

If you live near JFK or SFO, a Priority Pass card can pay off often. If your home airport is Denver, LaGuardia or Reagan, it may never get you in at home, and its value depends on where you connect.
